I agree but maybe if we sat back, they'd still sit back, that would be interesting.

It may be more effective in away games it would be harder In home games  with the priority to attack and pressure not to sit back during  would take over

Where we fall down  is not being able to adapt changing systems to change games to suit if all is not going right .

  2. Maybe we need to sit back during games let the opposition have the ball at times and counter attack them make them come onto us and if compact in our own half  wait for them to make mistakes it's the opposite of our possession football but we need to adapt the system it's called tactics . It just seems all our opponents are doing this to us ?

  3. The players arent good enough that is the root of of it.

My view is that we have players here that think they are better than they are to be brutal includes the captain of the club.

Where we were .where we are now after last week and cant even win at home 48,000 fans

Fed up with excuses . What are they doing at training its not working !  So time to do extra sessions

  4. In sport you have people like Ali - that did it and had a charisma with it as well

Brian Clough for me had the same effect and what makes him special - he made a team of people some were just ordinary players to european champions twice  and the methods he used nothing like today.

He was a unique one off that -didnt need any hype like the media do now .

When people still relate to what he did in his time - Then that is a real reflection and a tribute to a genius football manager of my time.

Awful performance but it's been like that this season so far, Guy is not cut out for this level, I'd loan him out for a season and try make him a bit stronger/less of a shitebag.

better than your forrest gump on his day .

  6. To see Michael O Halloran on the bench and not used was just as shameful for any time he has been given his chance has produced .

Brian clough had a saying the foundation of a good team was its defence

We will concede before we score in many games its happening all the time

And big wes in goals has been excellent - but today i thought a better goalie may have been more forceful instead of just doing the spider.

What a contrast to the semi final first half performance - we played far too deep today inviting them on.

  7. He deserves credit for sticking around - but truth is part of our weakest link DEFENCE

And if your Captain being part of the defence if they are weak it is your job to sort it .

Corner kicks against us are open day for the opposition -

In contrast Taveneir to me can defend and bully players but also offers a goalscoring threat and a free kick threat from set pieces . And seems more voal to team- mates when the shit hits the fan

I hate seeing defenders backing off and to see the team captain do it = 10 times worse !

Today the post match interview needing to watch the game learn from our mistakes

Has to be dropped - it wont happen he will be there next game along with rent a gub barton .He talks alot to and i prefer players that do their talking On the pitch !

  8. He has his haters for crossing the divide - he was far better to us did far more damage and enjoyed it twice over he came back .

A brilliant proffesional just reminds me of sherringham that he could play in legends games after this and look good .

Hopefully can possibly  be the match winner tomorrow

  9. To hear Darren Fletcher being named captain yet again ffs got rid of one useless git and replaced by another that is lucky to be in the team never mind captain .

I dont know what is the bigger embarrasment having a bad captain a bad manager a so called tartan army

In  the seventies anyone that sang doh ray me would have been laughed at .

What I find so sad is many rangers players and other clubs players throughout history have represented their club & country  including celtic would be ashamed of the shambles that we have today !

Embarrasing that I and many others will never experiance scotland reaching a major tournament in the future in my lifetime - all because the country now accepts failure .

Lee Wallace - Jason Holt - Michael O Halloran , Andy Halliday always overlooked wonder why ?

Did it not touch a chord in the SFA that under Alex Mc Leish and Walter Smith scotland ONCE had a decent team

Because all clubs all players wre picked on merit no division no bias !

    None of this SHIT .

Will that James Mc Fadden goal in Paris v France that gave me so much pride to go into work in england and the old enemy gave it praise as a scot it was a carlsberg moment . Is that it ?
