  1. Not long in from the game & once again I feel we have missed an opportunity.

We made a great start to the game with a fantastic goal & had we continued to play in the same manner then I'm convinced we would have won & probably by a few. Unfortunately after Davis hit the bar we sat back & allowed them to control the game & draw level with a goal that opitimised our performance, we failed to close them down & didn't track runners & as you would expect we paid the price. We did manage to react positively to this set back & when we got our noses back in front I was once again confident we could press home our advantage.

Unfortunately in the 2nd half we once again decided to sit back & allow them to dictate play & somehow managed to make an average team who were reduced to 10 men look good & although Brown's goal was a good one it was made easier by our reluctance to put in a challenge. I haven't had a chance to see the Naismith sending off again but my initial reaction was it should have been a penalty. We never recovered from this & we now have to add another tricky game to our already over populated fixture list.

Hopefully we come back swinging from this but since the turn of the year we have lacked the killer instinct & the result is that we let the opposition back in to the game. Improvement is needed & sooner rather than later.

  2. Just back from the game & obviosly I'm happy with the 3 points however I'm disappointed with our performance. Not for the 1st time this season we sat far too deep & gave the opposition too much respect & this is something that needs to be addressed.

Our performance wasn't the only one that was poor today as the officals were also shocking. Hearts were not subtle when giving our players (Diouff more so than others) a kick yet we were offered little protection. Even little decisions like which way a throw in should have went proved beyond these men.
