Well done to Ally & the club. Lets hope other members of the media have watched this & took note.
-
Welcome to the champions.
-
I'm encouraged by our spell at the start of the 2nd half. We played some decent stuff at that point & created good chances which on another day might have seen a different outcome.
It would be silly to ignore what went wrong & try to correct it but it wasn't all doom & gloom.
-
Obviously I'm disappointed with the result & with the exception of the 1st 20 mins of the 2nd half the performance was below our expectations.
On the positive side we played some good stuff in the early part of the 2nd half & showed a little bit of what we are capable of. Unfortunately the game has thrown up a number of issues that will need to be addressed, some/most of which we already knew.
Hopefully we will see a new face in before the Malmo game & ideally a few more before the St Johnstone game.

Don't know anything about this guy but good luck to him & welcome to the club.

Welcome to the champions.

Good performance by us tonight & a well deserved win. It looks like we are finding our form just at the right time.
A special mention has to go to the bears who made the trip. They sounded fantastic on the TV & are a credit to the club.
-
Great news. Hopefully we'll get a few more in over the next week or so.
-
Funny how it was a midweek fixture that was the shame game last season
It's unbelievable that this fact is continually ignored.
-
If this is true then it's a disgraceful way for Bougherra to treat the club. He would do well to remember he was rotting away in the Charlton reserves before we came in & turned around his career.
I have no problem with him wanting to move on & trying to further his career but the way he has gone about it is not the way I would have expected someone in his position to behave.
-
Clearly the media are unhappy that under our new regime they aren't get the "exclusives" they used to. Their reaction appears to consist of getting as many people as they can to have a go at the club & Whyte.
-
Cheers mate, a stupid email then, is that so 40,000 need to phone the ticket hotline at £1 a min to check that their renewal has gone through?
Looks like it.
-
I got the e-mail & phoned the ticket office. They said it was sent to everyone & confirmed that my renewal was through.

Keeping a hold of Jelavic would be a massive positive. Unfortunately I can't see us getting much more than another year from him before big offers come in.
-
Pretty much as expected. Most of the focus was on poor wee catholics being the victims with our fans being the bad guys while the scums fans once again hide behind the "it's political" excuse.
Of course it goes without saying that the issue of segregating children at the age of 5 based on their religion was completely ignored.

Diouf has done ok here but hasn't been 1st choice. We couldn't/shouldn't pay the level of pay he would demand for a sub.
-
Would be good to see big Bartley back in a gers shirt.
-
Surely we will pick the same team. We are in good form & we shouldn't change it if we don't have to.
-
Great result & the 1st half was a fantastic display. We took our foot off the gas in the 2nd half but we never looked like losing it.
Hopefully we will get the win on Sunday to see us over the line.
-
I think it will be a tough one but we'll get the win. 2-0
-
Great result for us today. Hopefully there are 2 more to come.
-
Great news. A win tomorrow would make this a perfect week.
-
Didn't expect this tonight. I'm worried I'll wake up ina minute & it will all be a dream.

Diouf the nice guy doesn't sell papers
Spot on. Some of the treatment he has had with the aim of selling papers has been disgraceful.

Piss poor display & while it is early days the signs are worrying & we need to turn this around quick.
The original team selection was wrong & we should have changed it again in the 2nd half & had a proper go at this side, who are a long way from world beaters. Despite this there still has to be questions about the performance/commitment of the players who were on the field. Too many of them simply didn't show enough fight or urgency.
At 1-0 the tie is not dead but we will need to be a lot nearer our form from the end of last season to stand a chance.
