  1. Lol. The only thing getting flushed out in this thread is the 'Head in the sand Loyal'. The same people who cheered Whyte raising the flag and backed Paul Murray's bid.

Does being informed, realistic or cautious make you an Earl?

  2. If we are liquidated then from a BUSINESS perspective Rangers 1872 will no longer exist. The club from a SPORTING perspective will exist and our history and titles will be intact.

fyi. Celtic have never been liquidated. Changed ownership etc but the club was never liquidate hence the talk of McCann saving the club.

  3. Yes. Its included. The big question is whether HRMC will accept the pence in the £ offer from Green.

Now despite all the internet rumours etc HRMC haven't stated either way if they will or won't. Green can say" take it or leave it" all he wants but the reality is very different from that. Its like calling your mortgage company and telling them you'll give them £10,000 to pay off a £100,000 loan then saying "take it or leave it" bold words but likely you'd we living in a b&b before long. These comments worry me. Great for the back pages but will surely rile the HMRC.

The reality is nothing has been settled or decided. The only known is the unknown.

  4. Anyone who thinks we will walk second place is deluded. Its that arrogant 'we are Rangers' attitude that put us into the shit we are in.

People have short memories. It was only 9 months ago that Falkirk beat us in the cup. Given the conditions imposed on us we will need to work bloody hard for any success that comes our way.

They sooner we are realistic and stop obsessing about the mhanks the sooner we will grow and become strong again.

  5. We as Rangers fans have short memories. 6 months down the line when Celtic are top of the league by 9 points and we have sold the likes of McGregor, Naisy and Jig the fact we could have been extinct will be long forgotten.

We will demand big name signings, trophies, Old Firm victories etc and it won't be long for the boos and banners to ring out.

I fear that the fact we were hours away from liquidation still hasn't sunk with the majority of our support. Its not to dissimilar to the McCann situation and the fact the mhanks took 15 years to realise exactly what he did for the club. At that time all they wanted was to beat us. They didn't care how much debt they were in.l

The reality for us now though is a medium term barren period. Possibly no League title and certainly no big name players for a long time to come. What we can do though is galvanise as a team and an entity. Continue to support each other and one day we will have our time again.

    WATP.

  6. Cautious optimism here. Still a bit unsure of these guys motives (his name doesn't help either).

If a sale does go through then we need to understand its going to be a few years of mediocrity ahead of us.

We need to accept that and remember it could have been so much worse.

  7. If Miller buys us then forget any trophies or big name signings for a considerable period of time. We have a 5 years + of mediocrity ahead of us. I just hope that 2-3 years down the line we remember it was either that or liquidation. I genuinely don't think 90% of our fans can handle being second or even third best to our rivals so it won't be long before we turn on Miller.
