he's done everything we could have hoped for, we now act quietly like a normal club going about its business tying up its young players and without the drama of recent times, the backing he has on board both in the middle east and nearer to home are exactly what rangers need , for so long we've been rudderless and fell far behind in commercial activities and selling our club. murray sold the family silver whyte stole what was left, only 7 mths since we entered administration our club is probably in better shape than its been in years.

remember when the sfl leagues clubs voted us into div 3, the div 1 clubs told the sfa that any changes in scottish football would have to come with all the clubs consensus, virtually ruling out div 1 clubs from taking invites to spl 2 and putting the power firmly into the 30 clubs of the sfl.
thats why its vital that we continue to make friends with clubs in the sfl and build our powerbase from there, clearly our cash is currency of that relationship, back in the early 60's rangers were seen as scotlands team, with the goodwill we can generate amongst the sfl of clubs who also despise the spl for the self serving cabal it is, when the time does come for a shake up of scottish football rangers will have a powerbase in place that is made up the majority of scottish football clubs, not just the 12 spl clubs

its a personal thing for me, I was brought up in england in the early 70's, my family were all liverpool fans, I opted for leeds utd as the wee men on my table football game were red and yellow.
football eh? sometimes it really is as simple and silly as that.

what the police and the media and the politicians did that day wasnt just a vile smear on liverpool fans it was a vile smear on all football fans, the working class as well, we're talking about thatchers Britain here, and the same police who went to war with miners and generally went through the 80's with carte blanche in dealing with maggie's opponents.
