  1. Dont know enough about the opposition mate. I'd be happy delighted with a win, 1-0 will do. We'll have to sit in though and not expose ourselves at home like we did last time around in the CL

Agreed on both points mate cant wait its just a pity big :jelavic: cant play hopefully Davis will make it but as you say a 1-0 win would be great. :uk:

  2. ha ha glad my comment was taken as intended. if she does read it you better hope she doesnt know your username :)

Loved your patter big man I take following the bears very serious but I dont like when someone shoots down your opinion hate a smart arse but I have got time for folk like yourself who love the banter. (PS) the wife is due in think I better change my password or I'll be in the dog house and I'm not kidding, you confident bout tomorrow? I think we'll win by the one goal its just a pity big :jelavic: isn't playing. :uk:

  3. I'm sensing the first RM wedding here. Should I buy a hat to match your handbags ?

 Nice one mate like a bit of banter rather than someone who replies with "I know it all" remark (PS) they'll be no wedding I've got one pain in the arse wife at the moment without having another one hope to fuck she doesn't read this :uk:

  4. Eh...fuck wit? :moon:

Listen mate , YOU have made a right arse of yourself on this one. :beer1:

YOU said that Ally couldn't cut it in today's modern game and yet YOU agree that Ally was much better than Boyd who just happens to be the SPLs record goalscorer. doh

Boyd has been a success in today's game - winning titles at Rangers and representing his nation so if Boyd has had success in this era it's logical to assume that YOU believe Ally would have been even more successful in this era as YOU believe he is a much better player than Boydy?

You are very much entitled to your opinion on the forum but please think before you post in future. :P

Your really hacking me off on this one mate what makes you a fucking expert on all things Rangers I think your getting upset because I mentioned Ally, I wasn't have a dig at Coisty I was just saying I dont think he would have scored the same amount of goals he did in his era with the creative players he played with Coop, Gazza, Laudrup and wouldn't find it so easy playing in today's game, Ally wasn't a work horse he had Mark Hately doing the donkey work for him, I stick to my guns when I say Boyd is playing in an era that doesn't suit his game he's been dropped by Walter because he cant play up on his own and the same is happening with Levin. I think Ally and DJ would have had the same problem unlike Mark Hately or Derek Parlane who were grafters and would have been a success playing the lone striker role but again thats just my opinion which I'm beginning to think I'm not allowed to have on the forum, this is my last post on this one as I'm sick of the Boyd topics he's no longer a Rangers player. (PS) apologies for the fuck wit remark just didn't like your tone when you replied to my point of view so we'll agree to disagree on this one even though you'll still say your right. :uk:

  5. Excuse me mate but what the fuck are you talking about ?

Ally McCoist would have been the top scorer in Scottish football by a country mile if he were at his peak and playing for this Gers team right now. To mention Boyd and Super Ally in the same sentence should be punishable by firing squad at dawn with no last meal or cigarette IMO. :2gunsfiring_v1:

The only Fuck wit who'll be standing in a firing squad is YOU I'm not comparing Coisty with Boyd, I know Boyd's NOT in the same class as Ally all I was trying to say was in the 80's and 90's there were wingers making goals for strikers but now strikers in todays game have to do a lot more work than just stand in the box, and by the way Ally wasn't the greatest grafter in the world when he played but he had guys like Coop, Gazza and Laudrup making chances for him but he still did the business and is a legend who I love to bits (PS) I thought this was a forum were you were allowed to express your opinion or is it only your opinion that counts  . :uk:

  6. Unfortunately Kris Boyd is playing in an era of football were a striker has to do more than just score goals, maybe in the 80's he would have got away with it, Derek Johnstone and Coisty did, both who I dont think would cut it in the modern game (just my opinion) Boyd was great value but he's away we move on, I'm really impressed with big :jelavic: and Miller's on fire looks like its going to be a very successful season for the Queens Eleven cant wait til we play THE ENEMY. :uk:

  7. I'd love Walter to remain as a manager and wouldn't rule it out he's still young enough especially when you think of the ages of some managers that are kicking about, I love Coisty to bits but dont think he's manager material but I do think he makes a good assistant just my opinion HOWEVER if he does take over he'll get my support 100% :uk:

  8. He gave me some of the best highs ever supporting Rangers (Helicopter Sunday, Dunfermline 6-1 game, Villareal) but also some of the worst lows (finishing 3rd in a 2 horse race).

    [/quote

I think Helicopter sunday, the 6-1 win over Dunfermline and getting us to the knock out stages of the champions league DEFNITELY outweigh finishing 3rd in a two horse race but thats just my opinion mate. :uk:

  9. Our priority and this is just my opinion is the league title, europe I'm afraid to say these days is a bonus if we get a run in europe great but as Souness said when he came to the brox all those years ago, the league is more important than anything else, well that along with beating THE ENEMY four times a season six if we get them in the Scottish and League cup. :uk:

  10. So we wrap Weiss up in cotton wool every time there's a champions league match coming up, the most important trophy is the league championship europe I'm afraid to say is a bonus if we can get a wee run in europe great but as Souness said when he first came to the club the League title is the priority but thats just my opinion. :uk:

  11. I dont think the big man got enough credit for what he done at the brox without the same amount of cash the little general had to spend and also the money Walter Smith had in his first term as manager and I'm ashamed to say I was one of big Ecks critics but its only when you look back at what he done for the club then you start wondering what he might have achieved with more cash and remember he's the only manager who took us into the knock out stages of the champions league, ok he made some bad signings but dont all managers, on the point of him coming back I wouldn't like to see it as it very rarely works when a manager or player comes back to the club Walter was the exception to the rule. :uk:

  12. I loved Derek Parlane I'll never forget his goal in the semi final of the cup winners cup against Bayern Munich also his goal against THE ENEMY on his 21st birthday (I think I'm right in saying) in the Scottish cup final, Derek Parlane was the type of centre forward who'd be sensational in the modern game in the way clubs play the one man up formation, he was strong, he could put the boot in when needed, he was great in the air and on the deck and most importantly he could hold the ball up and wasn't shy putting the ball in the pokey especially against THE ENEMY, I cant praise the big man enough, as the song went Parlane, Parlane, Parlane, Parlane born as the king of Ibrox park (sorry I got a bit carried away there :D ) those were the days. :uk:
