I seem to give away a penalty at least once a game. Half the time I don't even know why they've been given.

The Castle Greyskull thing is just stupidity on their part, it was the fortress of mystery and power and the digs of He-Man, the good guy. Skeletor's evil stronghold was Snake Mountain.
When they bring it up remind them of that and call the piggery Snake Mountain

See, i agree with this. Gillivan should be pulled up for pretty much everything he writes. The chasing of the Sun was completely justified and a great result achieved. The hounding of Piarra Powar or whatever his name is was justified. Paul Elliott as well. Thomson for a lot of his other stuff.
All worthy causes.
But when we take a really tenious link to something and rant and rave about it then you start to undo some of the great work.
You move from justifiable cause to paranoid ramblings in one swoop.

Why are the majority of you all failing to see it isn't about defending our armed forces past n present. The question I want to know is why can't we sing about Rangers FC, no not just the guys who might have done both as some smug arse tried to rant about. I want to sing about the team I support there's plenty other occasions to sing or revel in our victories at war. (not that I'm against a good German bomber singsong) I just can't get stirred by sings about a guy from centuries ago being painted on a wall (which I believe isn't even there anymore) or singing about my love of a country I've never even visited!! (northern Ireland) I want to sing about victories on the field of Ibrox, victories over our rivals, our great fans (this may sound hypocritical as many of our close minded fans annoy me and I'm fed up being tarred by their mud the bring to the club. I am talking about rejoicing in the fact we have stood by our club millions strong, I'm talking about our worldwide fanbase who continue to spread the good word of RFC) Why can't we focus our attention on that? No one is saying forget the past, just to focus on the super Rangers!!!

Apart from a few on here agreeing with you ....all you'll see here are wee boys with little or no thought for the club and our reputation and all you'll get is slagged off big time with them calling you a taig etc.... me too now that I've backed you....sad times within our Own fan base.
We COULD be beltin out the billy boys every-week sung with the proper Rangers wording but 'they'll' tell you it's not on ...given that the even More thick among the supporters cannot even think straight and chant without using the outlawed wording
