You should be alright in the town, ma's and the schoolhouse are fairly well run and they advertise Rangers games. The Northern bar on George Street can be good on matchday, a fairly mixed crowd. Stay out of the harbour pubs if you are in to watch Rangers games, can get a bit rough if you are vocal when cheering on goals. The same can be said for a few of the other pubs in and around George Street. That said, it just my opinion. As other posters have put Aberdeen and shire is a nice place to be, but their local football fans are a weird bunch as you will find out. All the best.
Cheers for that

You'll soon see the hatred for Rangers first hand. It is a way of life for sheep fans, from snide digs at work, the casual use of the word 'h**' towards you, going into a pub to watch games to find that they won't show games involving Rangers and a bizzarely weird obsession for Man U!
Hoping that's not the case, although I'm not one for hiding my allegiances, so I'll probably experience it. Off the top of your head, know any pubs that show the games? I'm living/working in and around Regent Quay.

I just moved to Aberdeen yesterday. I haven't saw a single Aberdeen top, in fact, I'm not sure any Scottish people live here.

Let him fight for his place like the rest. I'm sure he'd appreciate earning a place on merit.

Good thread. Carry on AlBear, carry on.

Incompetent and a napper like a toilet brush. I really don't understand what purpose he fulfills.

Another embarrassing outcome awaits them. Can't wait.

More cloak and dagger bollocks.

That's pretty cool.

I expect us to win everything, I also expect us to dominate teams we are playing and score lots of goals, If we don't, I don't throw the toys out the pram and demand we sack everybody and start again.
We're a club of traditions and winning is our biggest tradition. We as fans demand that those traditions are maintained, and rightly so.

He looks like a man who knows what it is to take another's life, and possibly wife too.
Definitely. And breakfast consists of cornflakes with a side of newborns.

Christ! I forgot about him... I was at the Newcastle game and he looked good, a bit mental, but good.
I see what you mean

Alfie Conn men? Dirty bastards.

Been looking forward to this for a LONG time. Excited to see a bit more of Peralta.

I expect us to win it.

Fucking snore. Forget badger culls, a major blogger cull is required. Bovine TB is fuck all compared to what some of these balloons spread.

The same as me!
14th December 1987.
Just think if you're fae Glasgow you and me could have been fellow Rottenrow babies!
Also worth pointing out we drew with Dunfermline as our first ever Rangers game, and the bheggers were the first team to beat us in our lifetime.
Ha, good stuff, I was born in the Rankin in Greenock though.
To be quite honest, I could have done without knowing those extra stats!

You're joking? I'm in temporary accommodation provided by the company, every reasonably priced flat I've saw has been in Torry.
