I take it this is the tie you are referring to... ...the thickness of the stripes and there distribution is not right and also the shade of blue not dark enough. My ties are a much closer match and they also cost less than the sopranos ties. Quality wise I've not seen the sopranos tie in person but people who have bought one and one of my ties have all said they prefer mine. Also they have professional photographers to take pictures of their products, I do not. I can assure you the quality is very good. A few guys on here have bought ties and I shall ask them to leave feedback here once they recieve them. If your happy with your tie that's fine.

For me it depends on the opposition really. If we drew Celtic would you want to see a weakened side? We have to show respect to other opponents too. I'm all for resting a few first team regulars. Just don't play a team of youths. As others have said, it's the first part of any treble!

I'd imagine the shorts will be black with some red detailing and the sock will be the same as the home ones. I quite like it.

Are you sure its the official club tie as worn by club officials and players? I was in there before the St Johnstone game and whilst they were selling ties they only had one style (the tie they issue to bond holders every season I believe) and these were 100% polyester selling for £10. A freind of mine bought this from the megastore several years ago... ...for £30! He lent me it for research purposes. It is 100% silk and at first glance looks like the official club tie of the time however examination of photos of the actual club tie reveal that the width/distribution of the stripes is wrong and also the bottom stripe was always lemon on the club ties. I'm not disputing that there are "Official" ties in the megastore. They're just not the "club tie" as worn by club officials and players.

Official club ties are not available to buy. Nor are replicas in the clubshop. It clearly states "resembles" in the original post. Now underlined and in bold for the hard of reading. If I made ties with crests or Rangers FC embroidered on them I would infringe copyright. Besides whilst the original current club tie had the crest on it they no longer do. Wind your neck in. If you don't want a tie fair enough, others may like one.
