There are only a few details to settle the contract after the Croatian striker Rapid Vienna Nikica Jelavic (24) will become a new player for Rangers
this gives us a lot more hope just have to wait and see
-
Keep the faith
i agree too lets just wait and see
-
I think we should just wait and see what transpires, a lot of fans getting worked up over a player who we don,t know will come or not
Time to step back and just wait and see who arrives
-
Walter smith on SSN just now confirming they are in talks with Beattie and Smith clubs respectivly , nothing of Jelavic
-
been away for a couple of days and thought this deal would have been done by now, guess its time to move on
-
here,s one to mull over direct of the fan forum
Zitat
Take this next bit of info as you wish,.............If I wanted to attention seek I would have started a new thread. Here goes.
I hear the Jelavic deal is done.
Rapid have relented and agreed Rangers price of 3.8m Euros. This includes add ons of 1m Euros after 50 appearances and a sell on clause of 25% to Rapid IF the sell on Transfer is over 5m Euros.
I don't normally post things like this for fear of egg on coupon
I'm pretty sure on this one, my source is immaculate.
Sorry.
ps, delighted at this transfer
Under €5M.

Thats a Rangers fan posting on a vienna forum. Even if his "immaculate" source did tell him this i dont think he would have said that theres a 25% sell on clause etc etc.
Btw i really hope this is done but id take that with a pinch of salt
Maybe this fan should take over the negotiations and get Jelavic

Yup , I truly thought. His shirt he has, as far as I can remember, has never taken off in a cheer. He's probably gone

The thing about Jelavic is, are we paying far more because he has scored 'X' amount of goals in European competitions?
If we aren't, Jelavic scored 18 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga:
Marc Janko - 18 (Salzburg)
Dorge Kouemaha - 16 (Club Brugges)
Senijad Ibričić - 17 (Hujduk Split)
Peter Utaka - 18 (OB)
Alessandro Noselli - 18 (Sassuolo)
Matteo Ardemagni - 22 (Cittadella)
Robert Lewandowski - 18 (Lech)
I mean there are plenty players out there that can score goals.
-
Looks like the other side are crapping themselves if this transfer has gone thru happy days
-
heres an austrian forum just translate it into english the rapid fans think he is 99% away
How do I translate?
hi fellow bears here is a link to the Austrian Kurier http://kurier.at/sport/fussball/2021873.php and this looks very promising I read this in germen but you can use google chrome it translates it automattically here,s hoping
-
does anyone have a link to the gers game
-
Even the Austrian press have clamed up with regards to Jelavic
-
Just been reading the Austrian Press and there is no word of any transfer yet, but loads of praise for Jelavic in tonites 3-0 win ,will keep watching
Jelavic, who is still bound by 2012 to Rapid, turns his brain thought no secret. Anger him a change to the island, Glasgow sounded to him as "interesting." The chance to play with the Rangers in the Champions League was a big challenge. His aim, however, the Premier League and therefore it would be a quotation from Everton just right.
An Everton Rapid has already not good memories.Greenwhite lost in the European Cup Winners' Cup final in 1985 against the smaller of the two Liverpool clubs with 1:3. On the transfer fee, it should amount to five million euros, but should have no influence.
Beroe against the Croat tore formally. He ran demanded the ball, scored and helped out in defense.Whether that is enough for a transfer? Sports Director Alfred Hörtnagl expressed cautious. "At the moment there is nothing concrete, so we deal not with us this issue." Will there still ripe with ex-Storm player Klemen Lavric should have ready substitutes are available.
this is the latest from one of the Austrian newspapers

All this talk of rangers on their back is a lot of nonsense, the guys are doing the buisness on the park and although its the
first game they look pretty good
Jelavic has arrived at Murray Park
in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
