Caused not anger but sniggering amusement at the moronic, but laughable arrogance of a handful of Rangers fans (same applies to your beloved mates across the city) So "arrogance" should be taken in perspective. I mean, I dunno what the hell Ive done in a previous life to be punished by being a Newcastle supporter, but odd Ive had to field more abuse aimed at NUFC from Rangers fans than Celtic whenever Ive bumped into either on my travels. Why is that ? Relatives of mine from the borders are Celtic fans (can't fathom that, as they're Presbyterians !) and they can't explain it either its always amusing digs at the relative strength (or lack of) of the Scots and English Prems Whatever. So 2-1 was the final score was it ? Oh disaster ! How can I sleep tonight ? Well, we were shamefully beated 6-1 by Orient before we sailed through the Championship (harder to do than winning the Scots Prem) comfortably,and one of the worst pre-seasons we had led to finishing 2nd in the Premier, so I'm not too bothered. Can't find any run down on how the game went anywhere. Any links ?
