  1. Good point. It's not a bad effort so far considering it's a few days before people have been paid.

    Hopefully they disappear on Friday!

I saw tons of bears getting turned away at the ticket office 2 weeks ago, need to get your tickets early. Don't leave it late anyone!

  2. Nice words from David and tbh before all the usual abuse gets thrown towards him id just like to thank him. The legs are gone and hes nowhere the player he was for NI 5 or 6 years ago but the guy would run through walls for us

Ive heard that him and Jig are willing to play for free until were out of administration.

  3. David Healy had mixed emotions on Saturday evening following Rangers' disappointing defeat to Kilmarnock in the SPL.

The result, of course, was hugely frustrating for Ally McCoist and his players, especially after 50,000 bluenoses had packed into Ibrox Stadium to show their support following the club's administration news.

But prior to and after the match Healy, a lifelong bluenose, insists he was bursting with pride because of the Rangers fans that backed their team to the hilt on an emotional day.

The Northern Ireland striker has always believed Rangers has the best supporters in world football and that on Saturday they proved that.

He said: "The fans turned up at the weekend as they always do and got behind the club and the players although we didn't get the result we wanted.

"That was hugely disappointing but it was still great to see that there are so many Rangers fans ready to support the club.

"I took the kick-off with Jig and he asked me if it was Celtic we were playing such was the atmosphere in the ground.

"Penny Arcade was blasting out and the fans were bouncing and that's the way it should be at Ibrox.

"As I said we didn't get the result we wanted on Saturday but what was shown was that everyone at the club is united.

"One thing we will do is stick together because of the Rangers family and the gaffer's words 'we don't do walking away' were perfect really given the circumstances.

"The fans love that and it's all about staying strong in these testing times.

"We've all got families and livelihoods but we'll get through it I'm sure, especially with the fans we have, they are magnificent.

"I've made no secret about the fact I've grown up supporting the club so I know all about the passion they have for the club and I am no different, it's a special club."

Prior to the Killie game McCoist showed his players a video which looked back at the history of Rangers and for Healy it brought back a lot of fond memories.

He added: "When we had our team talk on Saturday the gaffer showed us a montage on TV which went back through the years.

"The European Cup Winners' Cup success was on it and a couple of the gaffer's goals were on there as well.

"We also saw Davie Cooper score against Aberdeen in the Skol Cup final years ago and for me that was something I still remember to this day.

"I was at the two Skol Cup finals against Aberdeen when the gaffer and Durranty were such big players for the club and when I was watching the goals go in the hairs of the back on my neck stood up because I remember vividly being there.

"It was a nice touch by the coaching staff to show us that and although we didn't get the result we wanted there were a lot of things happened on Saturday that will stick with me, in particular the fans.

"Rangers has a big history and is recognised as being one of the biggest clubs in the world but we also have the best fans in the world."

  4. Ally McCoist insists the Rangers players are still united despite the club entering administration last week.

The squad are facing the prospect of only receiving a fraction of their wage as the club administrators try to sort out the club's finances, whilst the biggest earners could all be offloaded in the summer.

But the Gers boss says after meeting with the squad and captain Steven Davis that they are still a cohesive group.

"From the meetings I've had with the players and with Steve Davis I can tell you the players are united," McCoist told the Daily Record.

"We all want to find a solution in the best interests of the club, I will speak again with the administrators and update the players."

    Support

Meanwhile defender Dorin Goian has expressed his surprise and delight at the support the fans gave the club at the weekend.

Despite Rangers' off-field problems, Ibrox was sold out for the 1-0 defeat by Kilmarnock on Saturday.

The Romania international said: "You could not imagine the feeling I got when I walked out onto the pitch on Saturday.

"It was like we were playing Celtic at home.

"It was a great atmosphere and showed great solidarity from everyone. I don't think Rangers will ever go bankrupt with fans like these.

"We are more than just a football club, Rangers are a state of mind.

"The administrators who have come into the club must now make some decisions.

"They will decide how best to manage the financial side of things and see if they can make the club profitable.

"But I'm not worried about the future."

    Good words from Goian

  5. Will be going to Belfast on the morning of this game so won't be able to make it and I'm absolutely gutted about that!

Will be making sure the ticket gets put to good use though and hopefully can catch the game on the ferry or in a pub over there. :uk:

On the ferry... now thats dedication :craphead:

  6. I think this has got the best out of our fans, hard situations and we all come together.

I'm not too fussed about the results of the next coming games, I just want to be there to show that I am behind everyone at the club (excluding a few :sherlock: ) and I'm sure a right good thousand of bears are the same.

  7. (tu)

Every game until the end of the Season.

    90 minutes, full support.

After the abuse that the 'Subway Loyal' got for leaving early, I think they will think twice about doing it again, so I think we could be getting about 35-40 thousand fans at the end of the game considering we fill the stadium to begin with.

  8. Lets make the next home game against Hearts another sell out and let the players/staff/management know were all right behind them during these difficult times. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up seeing my second home full yesterday for a 'normal' spl game.

We will get through this together!

  9.

I've heard her a few times. Don't know if she has a season ticket.

Where abouts do you sit in GF7?

They're alright seats but don't expect any singing

Disaproved ur post by mistake there, meant to hit 'reply' :sherlock:

    I'm in GF7 Row P

Cant be worse than the enclosure anyway, surely..

  10.

    Aye.

That woman was a fucking horror, total pain in the arse!

We had guys screaming for fans to sit down and fans screaming at them back to sit down.

Damn right, she better not be there every home game as ive just got my season ticket moved to GF7 from the enclosure haha.

Im fine with sitting down, as long as the people infront of me are sitting down but theres no use telling people infront of you to sit down, it should be from the front upwards. I was getting punched in the back, getting told to sit down and that. No need for it.
