  1. The only two public figures I can categorically say have our interests at heart 100% are Walter and Ally. If either of them were to come out and say "Green is the man, lets support him" then that will be the day I put my 100% backing behind him.

At the moment neither Ally or Walter have backed him. That worries me greatly. So while JH's statement no doubt comes from the heart, I'm afraid he doesn't have the power to pursuade me nor indeed does Dingwall. The difference between Dingwall and Hannah though is the former had been preaching for over 10 years that David Murray was a cancer in the Club.

The ONLY way we're going to be able to go forward with Green involved is if Walter and Ally give their 100% backing. Forget marches, talk of division, protests - this is all that matters. :uk:

  2. Cheers bud .......meant to put it in new thread uk.gifPeople have missed the point Charles Green is the figurehead and he is the one that would walk away in a year.........did you check the Zeus Capital website they have Rangers as their latest acquisition.

Great post. Interesting to see the Zeus website. Big hitters in a big company. Brian Stockbridge looks a bit Clark Kent :) . They will have a plan and their reputation is at stake so even though they're out to make money, they will hopefully do it with a bit of respect.

Twitter is full of folk dissing Green with the knee jerk reaction to follow Walter. I think we need a fine blend of the two.

  3. !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Now there's a visionary viewpoint:

    "Nae Ally, nae Rainjurs."

Did we learn nothing from the PLG v Barry Ferguson fiasco?

    I despair.

I am not talking about the football side of things - we're still a long way off from worrying about tactics or team selection. If only that was all we had to worry about. I'm talking about the need to have someone that understand what The Rangers are all about. Once we're back playing in the SPL on a level playing field then folk like you can revert to whinning about Rangers fans managing or playing for Rangers.

And your use of the tarrier's way of spelling Rangers above wouldn't normally prompt me to grace you with a reply. But in this case, I have done so in order to help you understand the situation better.

  4. More interesting to see what wasn't said by McCoist. He didn't have anything positive or otherwise to say about his meeting with Green. And the "As things stand I am still manager" doesn't sound as if he's in a happy place.

McCoist will be more sick to the back teeth of this saga than anyone. But he needs to keep his cool and keep the focus on what's best overall for Rangers. If he leaves and a new manager with no Rangers ties comes in then we're doomed.

  5. Totally pointless game - all the players would rather be on holiday.

Shame it's not the WC this summer instead of the Euros as I'd love to see Boca and Edu play. Would give me someone to support in the WC for the first time in years. Even if Jelavic was still playing for Croatia, I just couldn't bring myself to support them so will have to resort to the Dutch this summer.

  6. The guy was a professional and Celtic were willing to offer him a contract.

Fair enough. Not a big deal. It's this sort of shite that held us back.

Held us back from what? Being world record beaters?

For those saying he had to feed his family....I mean come on. Even back then Dundee Utd or Aberdeen would've paid enough to feed a family. Or get another job. Or become a prostitute. But really, anything other than playing for them.

We all make mistakes in life and if he was to come out and acknowledge the error of his ways then that would be one step forward to forgiveness. If he doesn't understand that Rangers fans are miffed about what he did then he was certainly never a Rangers fan. If he was, it would be as clear as day to him.

I'm not doubting he's a "nice bloke". I'm sure he is. But Rangers man?? Never.

  7. Sky are worried. Any loss of business is a concern for them. Subscription to Sky has become a "must have" but now that folk are cancelling they will see life goes on without it and in turn will tell friends/family who in turn will cancel.

Forget the sanctions because of Sky's support for SPL/SFA. Cancel it because it will save you £40 a month and you'll still be able to watch all the sport you want online. And if you have a lady friend who enjoys watching the non-sport shite, or you yourself are gay, then you can watch that crap online too. You'll be £500 richer. (tu)

  8. no honestly bears where is the best places to go for a struggling family like ourselves,no im just a tight cunt so any options........

Turkey All Inclusive. Totally stress free as you don't worry about paying anything once you're there. Great value for money.

  9. I'd been on FF since 2002 and received a life ban for a vitriolic rant about Scotland. First ever bank and it was a Life time ban :anguish: . Appealed and got a reply from Dingwall who copied my post in his reply and said did I really expect anything other than a ban.

The early years were great. Constructive and informative posters with sane banter but now it's got too big for its own good. I don't understand the point of them banning so many as this reduces readership and therefore income from adverts.

It says a lot of Admin on here that they allow talk about FF and on some ocassions even defend the site.

  10. A fragmented camp is no use to anyone,so lets get this famous old club back on track, the after Admin support and unity was impressive lets keep it that way.

TBK had a raft of chances to step in but blew it,now its onwards and upwards with our new men,a message to the anti's, lets listen to his plans at least before heading off on a toys oot strop.

I agree but we're all pulling our cocks before we've even heard what he plans to do. I won't even judge him on what he says. I'll judge him on what he does.

  11. Cool your propellers gents. Let's wait for the sting in the tail that will no doubt arise during the D&P presser at 10am. This consortium only have preferred bidder status. Still a long way to go and still even more mountains to climb.

It is inevitable that this will not be as good as it seems to some.
