I will be delighted if we can get through these 4 with full points. It's as "easy" a run as we could hope for. Win all 4 in Feb and we go into 4 difficult games in March (Hears, D Utd, Bheasts, M'well). I don't bother looking at the fixtures of the Earl Haigs but they will start dropping points, of that there is no doubt.

Keep our ship steady and then watch the yellow fanged monster from the depths of hell behave like an Italian Captain when they start dropping a point or two. He is under incredible pressure as the thought of throwing the league away will be gnawing at his black heart, leading him to sleepless nights and thoughts of despair. I fear for him if they don't win the league this year.

There's nothing better than being a Bear at times like these.

  2. The unwashed have shown turnarounds can happen - they were total gash for a while and even worse than we are now. We don't even need them to go on a bad run, all we need is to start winning games and be there or thereabouts with 5 games to go. They'll bottle it.

Don't give up or if you do, try not to infect others with your defeatist attitude. It's looking very unlikely at the moment but have some belief that good will overcome evil. It has done so 54 times before.

  3. Again a poor show.

We do everything so slowly - no -pace in our build up until they score.

We clearly lack quality going forward apart from Aluko and Jelavic.

We have needed another striker for ages yet we are no nearer signing one. That cost us today - maybe the title.

Bartley should not be playing at RB when we have McMillan available. He is clumsy and no help in overlapping and was poor at their goal today as was Goian.

This team is just not good enough.

Agree on Bartley - he's obviously not fit. Wallace had a poor game too. Overall we were slow, clumsy and generally flat.

Always, always happens when everyone is 100% confident of a win. Life goes on.

  4. If he does stay then we'll see the very best of him. He needs to perform to a high standard week in week out if he wants to go to the Euros. If he can go and get a game in Ukraine/Poland then his price will rocket.

    I reckon he's staying.

  5. Im only saying he has done enough damage already and he continues to baffle us by picking players like kerkar over Wylde and Fleck, McKay and bedoya.

WHAT DOES HIS PLAYERS THINK OF HIM? AND WHAT DOES THE REST OF HIS SQUAD THINK OF HIM WHEN THEY CAN SEE HE IS DOING WRONG.

No wonder "Doom doom doom" is your avatar. Not sure who your avatar is but it is well 'tarded and makes me laugh. :uk:

  6. I too thought it was a certainty he would leave. It is a fact that his Agent wants him to move on and I believe Jelavic was expecting he would move.

He is happy at Rangers in that he gets on well with everyone and he and he and his young family are enjoying life in Scotland. So if he stays for the rest of the season he will not be disappointed and that for me is the most important thing. He's a nice lad but he's being told what to do by his agent who is a relative. However, his Agent is realising that the offers are not the there and those that are aren't going to line his pockets his much as he wants.

I reckon QPR were favourites before Hughes became Manager. Now I just don't see which EPL team will risk him. If he stays I'm confident he'll return to his very best for us. I'd say it's 60/40 that he'll go.

  7. Making no signings at all this window would be a bit of a disaster.

I've no doubts we'll sign at least a couple but unless we get the Jelavic deal done, it could be we end up with total dross. If no Jelavic sale then we're looking at Boyd and one other on loan. Talking of Jelavic I'm surprised Everton haven't been named as potential buyers - they don't have much cash but 7mil is peanuts.

  8. I said in the match thread this morning that I believed his agents would prevent him playing. I've also been saying for months that his agents will get him sold this January. Jelavic is a decent guy and has enjoyed playing for Rangers but he's got a bunch of greedy Croatian mafia-types behind him. Not a rumour, fact.

  9. I'd say the following...

    1. Bartley looked good at right back, and without being spectacular looked more comfortable than Whittaker or Broadfoot have been this season.

    2. Healy can put in a decent shift against 'average' SPL teams and is still a reasonable poacher.

    3. John Fleck won't get a chance under Ally, even though he is ready to play for Rangers first team. He looked extremely comfortable in centre mid today and was the catalyst for a lot of good stuff. He would not have seen much game time if it's wasn't for Laff's injury.

    4. Aluko has been a great piece of business and provides pace, directness and a goal threat that we have missed as of late.

    5. Davis is a far better player when the 'creative' responsibility is not all on his shoulders. He was tidy and picked the ball up from deep a lot. Having Fleck and Aluko ahead of him when he picked up the ball was a huge help to him.

    6. Wallace can play comfortably at left mid, if he and Papac must start in the same team, it should always be with Papac at LB.

Feel free to add or disagree...

Agree with all of that. Aluko and Wallace are proving our most potent goal threats. Very good team performance and an excellent win. (tu)
