  1. What changes would he have made though.

Healy for lafferty possibly - healy wouldn't have done much better.

Bartley for edu, thats about it.

Naismith was just on the bench to make up numbers.

    Aye Healy for The jokerty

Bartley for Weir, Boughie or Edu... the fresh legs would have put a spring in our step in the last 10mins

Naisey was just there to make up the numbers i agree. But look at the effort wee Flecky put in against Motherwell when he came on? Why no fire him on for Davis or even Foster or throw Wylde or young Kyle Hutton on just tae Defend it better wae fresher legs?

    JOKE!!!

  2. Smith's tactics are going to cost us. :sherlock:

Smith's tactics have us in the running for 4 trophies. A bit too soon to press the panic button in my opinion.

A canny believe u just defended him, his anti football is costing us dearly and EVERY CELTIC fan i know love seeing Kyle Lafferty oan the park and Davie Weir its like playing wae 2 men down sometimes...

Am no having a go a big Davie am always the first tae defend him, just think its about time he joined the pention que wae the rest of his era including Smith...

  3. Lafferty is a horrible footballer. A 7 foot striker with a head like an oxo cube a a shot like a 12 year old girl. The sooner he leaves the better. I wouldn't even mind having him as back up but he seems to always gets his game

Ano mate look at the advantages the big bastard has tae, he has the height aswel but canny header for shite!

A was surprised tae see Whitakers goal was a header and a liked the look of Big Bartleys ariel potenial but apart fae that we have no threat wae our heading capabilities anymore at Ibrox which needs to change!

I cringe every time i see Lafferty jump up for a header cause 9/10 times he doesnt even fuckin header or win the ball and the prick jamp for it lol

  4. Correct. He stays up the road from me. They filmed him for a new series of Blue Heaven last month. FACT. it's a follow up to the first. Kinda ' where are they now' show. They took him and some family bowling and recorded him outside Asda where he works. Dunno when it's on. Need to ask him when a see him.

He was in the year above me in school, you'd think he would have at least kept at it with a lower division team if it was only his height, build and streth that Rangers said was an issue?

I for one will be looking forward to the 'Where are they now' episodes and would appreciate a wee message of any info if anyone knows or just re open and attach it at the bottom...

    Cheers

  5. Let me start by saying there are many problems with this current team. A few players are not up for the job, the higher ups make stupid decisions like spend 4 million on a single player, albeit a great one, and spend the rest of the season with 14 or 15 first team players if you discount the youth players and so on.

    The blame lies firmly at the feet of Walter Smith and this stubborn ideal that every team we play have the god given right to be better than us because; "we have no money, we have a lot of games, we have a small squad" and so on. I for one am sick of his excuses. The REAL problem, is Walter's fear of change. A Phycologist said once;

    " Fear of the unknown.

They are afraid of new ideas.

They are loaded with prejudices, not based upon anything in reality, but based on… if something is new, I reject it immediately because it’s frightening to me. What they do instead is just stay with the familiar.

You know, to me, the most beautiful things in all the universe, are the most mysterious. "

Anything outwith a run of the mill SPL game and our tactics become as predictable as they are boring.

Walter Smith in the champions league played 1 good game in a 5-4-1 so refused to change it out of FEAR of ruining it even against shitty teams like Bursaspor, who we should never ever be afraid of.

Walter Smith changed things up a bit against Motherwell and despite Bartley looking mighty impressive, he is AFRAID to give him a go against a very poor side and sticks in Foster.

We go a goal up and Walter Smith is too AFRAID to upset the momentum of the game that he refuses to make a single change despite several players either being awful or fucked and we paid for it. This is not limited to tonight, how often does it take Walter till the 88th minute to make a change?

Kyle Laffery. Everybody knows he can't perform against a team thats not going to give him 10 seconds on the ball. But Walter is too AFRAID to give a guy like Healy a chance.

This "back to the wall" approach when we go a goal up in a game is getting beyond a joke and it has to change.

We should not be the most boring team in europe to watch. We are The Rangers and its time for us to start having a go at teams again. Time for us to stop fearing any team just because we don't know about them and saying "they must be good if they are in europe". Time for us to bring back a 4-4-2 and get rid of the dead wood.

I really hope Ally McCoist isn't afraid to change the system because at the moment, we are horrible to watch and this is affecting the once deafening Ibrox atmosphere as well.

You couldnt have said what i was thinking any better mate, i totally agree wae you.

Why the fuck was Lafferty on solo striker the dafty couldnt score in a barrel of fannys...

I'd take a £1 for Lafferty in the summer, fair play he plays for the jersey but what he has to offer is no where near good enough!

Ibrox need a shake 'n' vac and a hope tae fuck the take over happens and they make the changes that need to happen to take the club forward.

only thing ive found which is an awryt watch...

Do you think if/when a new owner takes over they be intrested to make this happen and create more intrest and show boat our young prospects as a few they highlighted actually made it big and theres still some hanging around ibrox getting the odd game or playing elsewhere.

  7. Would everyone no love the team tae dae another show or do a yearly one?

Surley this wouldnt cost to much tae put it on BBC Scotland?

A know Murray probably wouldnt back it but i think every fan would love to get a behind the scenes and see our youth development on a weekley basis??

    Thoughts?

  8. http://www.rangers.co.uk/articles/20110215/can-collectors-needed_2254708_2293797

Rangers are asking us fans to help out and help a charity the club are involved in...

Anyone else gonna put there name forward? Would be good to see many other season ticket holders just there to help out but there is something in it if you dont have a full time seat at Ibrox...

Free ticket to the St Johnstone game. Its good to see the club rewarding fans that help.

Hope alot of people donate on the day.

    We Are The People!!!

  9. Top marks to the Blue Order before the Motherwell game marching along the road at the main stand wae flags as a unit belting out Rangers songs i was just at the complex as they wer doing it... Made me moist lol and made the wee hairs oan my neck stand up :sherlock: Class!!! Well done lads!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Thats a poor example. I dont like the same word above the other.

A simple RANGERS across the Govan would be class.

I wanted one with a blue back round,i think its done twice coz its one of there songs? RANGERS across the govan would indeed class :21::clap:

They should put Rangers on the Govan Rear and Umbro on the Broomloan and Copland stands (and get some money).

Boys its there look at the top of the Govan stand, BIG Blue letters under the flags Rangers F.C lol :craphead:

  11. Diouf has already said when he signed he'd love to make the deal pernement and become a Rangers legend so the ball is in Rangers court regards to him...

Bartley thinks hes a star in the making i reckon somebody else will get him on loan next season for more experiance but the boy doesnt look too bad, seems to be offering us something with that debut display.

Now the wee man!! oooooft a hope Man city havent been keeping tabs on how well he's been playing but a reckon they have and maybe get a bash in pre season next season if they have, if they dnt give him a bash there mugs! If they dont maybe a loan deal back to us or somewhere else in europe who offers the wee man first team and european football. One day i reckon he'll want to play for us full time and sign.

A wonder what contract length he has left at City????
