The one issue that he hasn't been able to control is the massive disconnect with the fans. The board really need to sort that out if we are ever going to compete at the highest level again.

Wallace is quickly becoming another player we'd be looking to replace once back in the Premiership.
He looked a great player a few years ago, but, hey so did I when i played in the 3rd and 2nd division.
The last 18 months his performances have decreased to a near unacceptable level. He's became inconsistent, injury prone, slow and overweight.
Sitting with all us getting bevvied along with Boyd at Talbot games doesn't help.
So concerned by it all I mentioned it to Jim Stewart last time we spoke and he knew exactly where I was coming from.

Nice to see Valencia back in the mix too after recent troubles.
Imo they were responsible under Benitez for kick starting the resurgance of the great Spanish attacking teams of recent years.

It certainly does! Boyd is more of a concern though. He's doing exactly what Smith kicked him out the team for previously.
It seems Wallace is his tag along now whereas it was Broadfoot last time around.
