Should McGregor go then we shouldn't be spending any of that money on a new keeper when we already have a ready made replacement in Alexander.

New signings will happen soon i would imagine, but it's not a disaster if we go into the first games with pretty much the same squad that ended the season.

Goodwillie if i had to choose between the two, but i'm hoping for both. Even if we do get both of them, they should both be made to fight for their place, Laff & Jela deserve to start as next seasons front two.

Think your right mate. Rumours amongst Hearts fans i spoke to seem to think he is going to Everton, can't see it though. He's a player i'd like to see at Ibrox.

Don't think he will leave France, not this season anyway, his team won Ligue 1 this season so i think he will stay with them and have a crack at the Champions League.

I think against lower SPL teams it may work, but i certainly wouldn't like to have such an in-experienced partnership all season.

Read an interesting piece a few days ago on Celtic's finances, basically said they rely quite heavily on Champions League money. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Izagirly or Kayal leave if they get offered enough.
We will strengthen, and ideally have 4 or 5 top quality players that can go straight into the first team with perhaps a couple loans for squad depth.
Celtic have improved, but they have had 3 season now to take the league away from us, and in each season we have sold key players and only recently brought in players.
I'm not under-estimating them, but the fact we managed to win the double with a limited squad and competing in 4 competitions beyond Christmas, makes me feel confident that we can do so again, providing we spend wisely and strengthen in the right areas.

Was very impressed with Alvarez, hard to believe he is only 20 and had around 37 fights already.
