I would take it. Cash it. Loose the league this year. Buy sir Walter a wee golf course to cheer him up. Buy us a decent board who stand up for our club. Buy Lennon a one way ticket to the Yukon. Invest the rest in rangers ..... sit back and watch rangers dominate Scotland and Europe for years to come.

I think odemwingle is a bit of a punt In the dark is it not? Tbh I wouldnt want him at the club if Jela left not really an ideal replacement for the big guy. I would say someone like fuller would fit jelas build more but obviously I wouldn't want him near the club either, any ideas on a like for like replacement?
It would be a massive shame to see him go, but like most of you have said noone is irreplaceable we have lost stars in the past and will in the future, noone is bigger than the Rangers. I have 100% faith in the team that will be replacing Sir Walter.
Bring on Sunday and let's see how we get on from there, I don't want to tempt fate but you never know if we win on Sunday Jela might have such a good time at the title party he won't want to miss another

The question remains that IF we sell the big man, would ally still want the extra money upfront or would we revert to whytes original promise of 5mil a season.
I would think this would more than likely be the case and we would have the 5mil plus whatever transfer fee we got for jela. Rather than the 10mil and Jelas fee, that some of us are talking about.

It would set a precident of how we should be treating our own....too many times we have let decent players contracts run out only to offer them buttons to stop them from leaving. You may not agree with it but I appreciate your intelligent input none the less....

Naismith signed a 5-year contract earlier In the season mate.
I know that's my point, I would get him on an improved contract as a Thankyou for the loyalty he has shown.

If I was Ally the first thing I would do when this takeover goes through is get Naisy signed on an improved contract, to reward him for the loyalty he showed the club when its future was hanging in the balance....same for Jig aswell.

I stay in England and it baffles me how anyone who lives in GB under this great flag full of history and tradition can slate it. Every bone in my body is proud to be British, maybe some people don't feel as patriotic as I do, but to request your own flag to be removed from companys such as the ROYAL mail leaves me very worried for the way this nation is going.
I for one will never stop flying my flag no matter who tells me not to. I don't class myself as English or Scottish, I'm British and proud of it!
