The cup final worked a treat, destroyed the scum on the volume scale and the best atmosphere we've produced in ages. I don't think it can work as easily at ibrox though, as stated.
I think a petition should be organised and signed by all those who would like a Bundesliga style standing section to be created. Give Whyte something to chew on early into his stewardship.
Thats the way foward not sure it would even be considered but worth a try.

He was the one that got the groans started so he should be the one to stop them. At the end of the day, he's getting abuse because he's shite. It's not his fault he's shite but we cant groan at walter when Edu touches the ball so........
Well he's still a Rangers player till at least the summer, if you think the moaning is helping his confidence or will improve his form then keep moaning.

Way to improve his confidence, no wonder it has completely dissappeared when his every touch brings out a sigh of "oh no" ... how about supporting the guy, I have yet to see a player improve when fans do nothing but berate him, however .. get behind a player, well ... Hutton is a classic example of what support can do for a player.

getting away from ibrox probably did him good.
Spot on looked a little more confident with less pressure on him.

He's a great player when he is fit. We could never afford his wages though, think he is on something like 60 grand a week with spurs.

The number of games someone plays does not determine how suitable they are to be captain.
Why would you want your club captain to spend his time in the stands or treatment room?
Alex Ferguson (a highly respected manager) stripped Gary Neville for this exact reason.

Because PLG wanted Ferguson to play in a more forward position and Ferguson would not do it.

If you're going to make reference as to what was said, try to be accurate.
He stated that in France the captaincy wasn't seen as important as in Scotland. Whether anyond agrees with that or not, it wasn't Ferguson's call to cause unrest within the dressing room, quite the opposite infact.

I think you will find he stated the captaincy was not as important as people think in Scotland. If you were captain of Rangers(the team you love) how would you take this?
PLG appointed Gavin Rae as captain take it he was better than Ferguson then.

All it showed is that he never cared one Iota for the club but that he was indeed "Mr Rangers" and more important than anyone else. His head was so big that he decided how the team should play.

PLG was never going to get results with the team captain refusing to play to instructions and undermining the Manager's position in the dressing room.
Well what happened before he lost the dressing room?
Think you will find PLG undermined Ferguson first, he stated in an interview that a captain was not important. A good manager would have realised this statement was going to offend his captain & other's imo.
I'm glad it happened when it did with Ferguson, got rid of PLG before he could do any more damage.

If this takeover happens what signings do you think ally should make? Obviously we need to keep Bartley and Weiss, Diouf i'm not so fussed about as hes not really produced and only seems to talk to the media.
