WALTER SMITH has made three changes to his starting line-up as Rangers chase a vital victory over Dundee United tonight.As expected Madjid Bougherra comes back into the side for his first appearance since the League Cup final triumph over Celtic on March 20.
And Stevie Naismith, crowned Rangers Player of the Year on Sunday night, also returns after missing Saturday's St Mirren match through suspension.
Kyle Hutton also takes the place of Jamie Ness in midfield after Ness suffered cramp in the latter stages of the weekend victory over St Mirren.
Bougherra's comeback has enabled Steven Whittaker to move back to his natural full back position with Richard Foster moving to the bench.
El-Hadji Diouf has also dropped back to the bench to make way for Naismith with Jamie Ness also joining him among the substitutes.
Rangers: McGregor; Whittaker, Bougherra, Weir, Papac; Edu, Davis, Hutton, Lafferty; Naismith, Jelavic.
Dundee Utd: Pernis; Kovacevic, Kenneth, Severin, Dillon; D.Robertson, S.Robertson, Gomis; Swanson, Goodwillie, Russell.

Play a 4-3-3 or a 4-3-2-1 and use it as a attacking formation.
Muff's team for the 4-3-3 except swap Edu for Ness.
