The result tonight was really hard to take, the fact we were about 10 seconds away from victory(granted with a very poor performance) makes it all the worse.
I think we are going to have results like that this season however. We need to remember that a lot of the team are finding their feet at Rangers and don't have the experience of grinding out results where we are not at our best and holding onto a league in a tight cup game against a very determined opposition.
I think a lot of people took the Ramsdens cup for granted as well as winning league this season. I agree we should be doing better than we have done but let's be honest we're playing professional teams whose players are out to make a name for themselves and they are going to give it their all in games against Rangers especially at Ibrox.
However, a few bad results here and there does not mean Ally should be sacked. My suggestion would be to look at bringing in foreign coaches and scouts from the continent who can help improve the technical ability of our players. We should adopt an attractive brand of football now and get guys like McKay, Mcleod, Crawford etc familiar with this so by the time we are back in the SPL we have the foundations of a really good team who with a couple of quality signings e.g a Jelavic type could go on and do well in europe and the league.
Another 5-1 league win at Ibrox and a win against Motherwell in the league cup next week and everyone will have forgotten all about tonight.

Quick question if I was to purchase tonights game in my season ticket seat just now will it automatically activate my smartcard tonight or will I need to go to the ticket office and pick up a paper ticket? Thanks.

Off-topic but I noticed that a couple of their players were in a car crash yesterday and one of them is described as critical.
The lad in critical condition was a trialist and came from the Livingston area. I know who he is but don't want to name him for obvious reasons.

Just bought two tickets for BF2. Loved being so close to the union bears/blue order for the Falkirk game. The atmosphere makes a welcome change from my seat in the Copland Front

I want Scotland to win every game I don't see how any Scottish person couldn't. However I don't attend the games as I am more of a unionist than nationalist and don't think I would fit in. If we make the world cup I'll go though

Absolute skint at the moment from paying for my season ticket, booking hospitality for the final game of the season and the 2 home cup games plus Berwick away so far. If I can get money I will be there however.

This game will be a sell out easy. The fact we had 46,000 fans at the game on Sunday with a half past 4 kick off is astonishing. Can't wait for this game.

Mates work has a table in the Thornton Suite - got the chance to use it a few times and it's brilliant. At the end of the day can't really comment on if it's worth £165, on my wage I wouldn't pay it anyway.
Did you get to meet the current team players after the game or is it just the legends that you come across when in hospitality?

I am wanting to get the black shirt in long sleeved and seen JJB have it down by 15 percent on their website. Would feel guilty not buying direct as ridiculous as that may sound so I'll be getting it at the end of the month from Ibrox

Has anyone on here ever done hospitality at Ibrox?
I've only ever been once and that was in club europe a few seasons back now and I absolutely loved it. I am wanting to know though is it worth forking out the £165 plus vat for the Thornton suite? I am really keen on doing hospitality at least once this season. Also do you have to pay it all off in the one go or can you put a deposit down for a game and then pay the rest up? Thanks

I haven't taken Lewis McLeod out due to poor performances just that I feel from time to time we will have to rest our younger players at various stages of the campaign.
