  1. "Candlelight Vigil in Support for Neil Lennon - Thursday 21st April 2010 - 10pm Celtic Park Enough is enough, Neil Lennon has ong been a target of Sectarian bigots. It is time for a public show of support for Neil and to send the bigots a clear message. Please attend the vigil to be held on Thursday 21st April at the front entrance at Celtic Park Support Neil Lennon"

    1. There's supporting your Club manager when he's going through recent events, and there's showing no shame. What about the devastation caused by the tsunami in Japan in the last month? Do these people not deserve more than Neil Lennon? Let me get this straight: because Lennon is assosciated with Celtic Football Club, his life is far more important than any others put in threat around the world?

    2. Regarding the bold, I highly doubt that a candlelight vigil is going to show people capable of making bombs to kill people they have a clear hatred for that they should stop. They're not fucking moths. They're hardly going to get attracted by the candlelight and hand themselves in. The people responsible are the scum of the Earth and they're hardly going to stop because of a bunch of Plastic Paddys holding up candles.

This is stupid as fuck and although people are laughing but it's angered me more than anything.

It's such a love-me love-me love-me attitude that that whole club reeks of.

This 'vigil' is as much anti-violence and anti-terrorism as it is pro-Creme Egg - it's about pointscoring as much as anything.

You better believe that if Regan told their fans that the next person petrol bomb Lennon's house would win the SPL title, they'd beat us to the Esso.

  2. Silly question here ...

In the Blue Corner when have Craig Whyte, self confessed Rangers fan who is willing to pump in somewhere between £25 to £50m into Rangers

In the other Blue Corner we have Paul Murray, Dave King etc who are willing to pump in a minium of £25m then more on the back of a share issue underwritten by other Rangers minded people.

Now .... if those 2 parties got together & thrashed out a deal between them all, we could have a potential investment of £100m, with no bank debt.

If they really & truely are RANGERS men, then can't they put their differences aside & work together to turn the club around ??

As Whyte wants Murray and King off the board, I'd say not.

  3. The fact I'm rarely on a PC and mostly use my mobile makes emailing a pain the baws for me but i'm sure plenty on here will follow follow in your footsteps (tu)

Hmm, that's hardly an excuse :P

The more that do, the better, the bigger it becomes and the more difficult it becomes for them to ignore it.

If we can do it in big numbers, people will be forced to act.

  4. Isn't there away to report it to the Government, surely this would be covered in the anti terrorism laws, especially since the press have reported that the real ira is recruiting at celtic park.

    I emailed my MP.

They are guaranteed to at least respond to it.

Don't email your MSP, obviously, as the Scottish Parliament is dissolved for now.

  5. It's not dignified silence that puts the club under attack, it is undignified singing.

I hate to argue with Minstral but I totally disagree. I never want to see Rangers behaving like Immaturity FC have this season. Were it not for our issues over alleged 'sectarian behaviour', or whatever, this year would be remembered as Walter's swangsong and Celtic's disgrace. We have handed the PR war to them on a plate and that's nothing to do with me sitting is silence, dignified or otherwise, it's to do with fans who can't work out the words 'fenian' and/or 'pope' are going to bust the club's balls and divert attention away from 'them'.

That holds up if it wasn't for the 'offensive/sectarian' hokey cokey and Penny Arcade.

We could sit singing Kumbaya for 90mins and they'd argue we should be hammered for detracting from the atmosphere at the game.

  6. has anyone? one single rangers fan even complained about others songs? while we are all up in arms and under the spotlight it would be more than the right thing too do, would it not? i wont be surprised if there are numerous complaints from many a tim who aint in attendance at any of our games yet feel it is only right they complain as an oposing fan even though they may not even be affilated with that club, i feel its open day on all at rangers or i could say open season.

    I have.
