I will be very surprised Edu will be sold Ally rates him highly and thats from the horses mouth.
i think edu could go because of all the players that we all see as "not good enough for rangers" he would raise the most money and is also on the biggest wages (apart from Beattie) I think 1 midfielder will go because we have too many especially as we are only competing on a domestic front.

I can't believe the amount of people on here who don't rate Davis.. He is our best player and without him we would be a very poor side. Only if he leaves will you realise how good he was IMO.

This is a non story, like mccoist says every club is in the same position if a bid comes in with a silly bid for any player then it would have to be looked at... Europa league football would not have made any difference to this.
Davis & McGregor have been available for transfer for the last 3 years and nobody has come in so why would a club bid for them now that they have signed 5 & 6 year deals.

I don't blame whyte at all... He was the only person that wanted to buy the club.
With this HMRC case hanging over us he would be stupid to spend millions, he is not going to admit it but i believe that is why we are not spending.

the difference with Adam is that he was given so many opportunities to make it at Rangers where fleck hasn't. I don't think anybody on here could have predicted what Adam would have gone on to do, although i still think he is over rated.

Why is Broadfoot getting so much stick just now?
He's came in for Whittaker and been far better at RB than him yet he's been getting loads of abuse. Not in individual Topics about but just in posts in various topics.
We all know he is a shit footballer, that goes without saying but he's been decent in all the important games he's played so far this season at RB.
i totally agree mate, he has never let us down and isn't as bad as people make out!! Great squad player

Davis is not captain material. The length of time served at the club is not more important than leadership characteristics, of which he has none. On his day, he is a great player. He is NOT a leader.
there is 2 sort of captains, the ones who shout and scream and the other who set an example on the pitch with there performaces. People like Butcher, Gough & Barry Ferguson did both i appreciate that, but Davis sets an example with his performances and is generally our best player most weeks IMO. Im not saying that Davis is the ideal captain of Rangers but my point was made originally to somebody who said Goian should be Capt after 2 games. Davis deserves it FOR NOW.

so our most consistent performer over the last 3 years, who takes control of games and sets the perfect example to the rest of his team mates should be nowhere near the armband but a guy we signed a month ago and has played 2 games should be???

What difference does it make how many games he's played ? He's been comfortable, consistent and solid. Captain for me.
ok so it happens... very rarely!! Goian for captain, not for me let him get fit, get some games under his belt and concentrate on playing football and who knows further down the line. Davis has earned the right to be captain so im happy with him wearing the armband.
