  1. we neveer got a 3 tier relegation

Yeah, that was badly worded. We did get refused a league membership transfer, where they have been given one within hours of the decision to liquidate the old company. For a measley 10 points. Remember the uproar from various quarters when it was suggested we should get a 10 point deduction for staying in the SPL?

  2. So if they newco will they be voted out of the league? Will the players TUPE over?

The players are supposedly contracted to a separate company.

They will need to transfer their membership shares to a new company but will definitely not be voted out of their league, there will be a meeting of the FL board to determine sanctions (probably 15 points)

  3. They haven't gone into liquidation, it's just one company. They will get a points deduction and that's all.

The company that holds their FL and FA membership share is about to enter liquidation. That share will have to be transferred to a new company.

    Essentially identical to us.

No Europe for them for three seasons (Not really a factor)

Sanctions for transferring the membership share to a new company? probably a 15 point deduction rather than a three tier relegation that we got.

  4. Youre right mate.

Fuck it. Lets let the police do whatever they want and we can do nothing except moan.

40,000 people submitting a FOI request for footage of them being filmed is hardly going to make the filming stop. Ludicrous idea

Not that you'd ever get 40,000 people to part with £10 each in the first place when we could barely get that amount to sign a petition online for FREE over a 6 month period.

  5. Im pretty sure any fan who is filmed has the right to ask for a copy of the film under a Freedom of Information Request. Even if you were not personally filmed you can still ask. I also think you can also ask for the name & number of the officers who did the filming.

Im sure they would get pissed off if 40,000 requests were made every week.

Doubt they'd be pissed, costs £10 for a FOI request.

    £400,000k

  6. To sell our stuff, same as the old JJB deal.

It's a joint venture where they own 49% of the merchandise company Rangers Direct (We own the other 51%)

Since when has it been only 3 years? Surely it will be much longer term than that.

  7. When are the accounts being released? Those will answer the OP's question.

And yes just for 1 season. Found that quite odd tbh.

I'm sure Green said something about only doing deals year on year until we were back to the top but then the puma deal is 5 years and SD 3 years.

What was the 3 year Sports Direct deal for? Must have missed that.

  8. What he said is correct. It has nothing to do with Doncaster, it is up to the clubs to vote on the matter.

Technically its actually the board of the SPL/SPFL that has to vote on the transfer of membership. In our case the board of the SPL shat it and decided to make up the rules as they go along and let the clubs vote on it rather than the board.

In Hearts case, assuming the board dont shite themselves again, it will be the board that vote on the transfer of membership (3 Premiership chairmen, 1 Championship chairman, 1 League One chairman, 1 League Two chairman and Neil Doncaster).

In Hearts case, the board would be expected, by any reasonable person, to accept the membership transfer and demote Hearts to League Two, since the bodies have now merged.

  9. I remember seeing there was 1000+ away fans in the home end at Blackpool The police just told them all to head to the away end and they all walked round the side of the pitch.

If home end tickets are freely available it wont put anyone off IMO. So why not just sell away end tickets to away fans?

  10. Don't think this will sell out. Never took that many to Blackpool and it was easier to get to. I've a sneaky feeling the Bristol game might not get approval

I agree. Should still be a good trip. Anything over 4,000 for an away friendly is immense IMO.

  11. About time......from the days of talking abut trying to get my old Primary School over the road, to CG telling us it would be Edmiston House to finally seeing something on paper, although have to say wrong position for this museum.

Edmiston would have been far better as you could get more on display.

We've also bought Edmiston House, so it will eventually be used as well (Ticket office?, cafe?, superstore?, Rangers call centre?, etc)

I haven't heard anyone mention buying the Primary School before, but it sounds like a good idea. Only problem is it is still in use! I would buy the sports complex opposite the main stand as well (money permitting), would be a good location for future development.

  12. no way that ground holds that many, we were in it not that long ago,

only grounds i wont be in are the 11 who tried to kill us, after that i will sattend if and well i see fit.

    (tu)

Held 9,280 for the Ayrshire derby in 2009, segregation will be similar so we should expect a similar crowd.

  13. nae scanner mate

    It's a plan though

Who needs a fire certificate for their flag?

I'm sure if you took a photo of it, I could mock up a forgery for everyone.

Depending on how complex it is.

Mine has been ordered off of Barmy Flags, so fingers crossed I get one with it. If I do I'll upload mine if anyone needs one.
