  1. It's so frustrating as I renewed so long ago and they've still not taken payment. Slightly worried that they've lost my renewal and I lose my seat tbh

I'm in the same boat bud. I sent my form back at the end of June but I've had no word back and I don't know what's happening. I'll phone tomorrow to see what the script is.

  2. I still think we need some more width. Just a wee suggestion here. I remember seeing a player called Luke Freeman playing for Stevenage on the tele last season and he was very impressive. Tricky wee player who always looked to create something. The lower English leagues are definately a place our scouts should be looking at to unearth a few gems.

  3. No this again. I will renew my season ticket no matter what. I am concerned that people who are thinking about renewing or who are thinking about getting their first ever season ticket will be put off due to scaremongering statements like this.

  4. There are two aspects to this.

Firstly the physical tropheys were bought as part of the agreement, so they are legally ours.

Secondly, do we retain the history. The answer is yes. This is part of the company brand which was purchased and is contained within the goodwill.

Is this a decision for the SFA/SPL - No

Can they choose to say they dont recognise the history - Theoretically yes, but they wont.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. My head was hurting today after listening to all their shite.

  5. I posted this in a different thread earlier but I didn't get many responses anyway I had the displeasure of being in some of their company today and the hatred towards us was actually embarrassing. I was told categorically that all our trophies will not be carried over to the newco but when I tried to explain that they will be they were having none of it.

So can someone please confirm that I am understanding things correctly.

We need to apply to the SFA for the oldco Rangers members share(SFA) and if they agree to transfer it to the newco then we will take all SFA trophies(47 titles and all cups) we have won to the newco.

We also need to apply to the SPL for the oldco Rangers members share(SPL) and if they agree to transfer it to the newco then we will take all SPL trophies (7 SPL titles since 1998) over to the newco.

Am I correct in my understanding or have I misinterpreted ?

So to shut these muppets up can someone please confirm that I am understanding things correctly.

    Am I right ?

  7. I actually think there is an argument to decrease prices in some areas of the stadium. As someone posted it costs them about £640 to sit in club deck. How many games is club deck actually close to being full ? Most games this season I've looked up there and there are rows and rows of empty seats. Surely its better to have this area full of people paying say £400 a season than to have only a few thousand paying £640.

In saying that I am more than happy to pay extra on my season ticket as I want to do what I can to help the club. I currently pay £430 for my seat in BF2 and and it's worth every penny.

  8. This wouldnt work as we have seen in the past it always starts out with good intentions but then fails.

How you you decide who gets a vote aswell, we could have it as ST holders, RSC members but this excludes a huge amount of fans and we would be back at stage 1 where a person elected doesnt represent eveyone.

But if Bluedignity wants it he will have to fight Blouie to the death

Yeah I understand about the difficulties on deciding who gets a vote. I just thought I'd through the idea out there and see if there was any solutions.

  9. We all know that as Rangers fans we all have different opinions on how the club is run. From coaching players to catering deals. From tactics to merchandising. We all have our differing opinions on all issues regarding the Rangers. But for too long now we have certain individuals who seem to be the media's go to people when they want the fan's perspective on an issue. Said people do not speak for me and I find it infuriating to know that the wider public assume that these people speak for the majority when they quite clearly don't. Which is why I think that after we are out of this mess we are in at the moment we should somehow elect a fans spokesperson. Whether it be an email sent every few years to everyone on Rangers' ticket database so they can cast a vote on their prefered candidate I don't know. When elected the spokesperson would then speak for the majority of Rangers fans.

I don't know if there would be an appetite for such a scheme but going by the reaction of our fans regarding the Bill Miller debacle then I think there is.
