The main reason they keep blocking the move down south in my opinion is WE pose a "potential" threat to challenge eventually to be the biggest team in England in which would be a huge embaressment to the English FA, while all the others who play in cross border leagues dont pose a threat in any shape of form.
Of all the teams that play in cross border leagues its only monaco that i know off have actually won the Frech league.

MOSCOW, December 13 (R-Sport) - Russia and Ukraine’s top flights could merge as the basis for a new regional football Super League, the head of the Russian league told R-Sport on Thursday.
Proposals for a Super League have gathered pace in recent weeks, winning backing from Russian Premier League head Sergei Pryadkin and representatives of CSKA Moscow, Zenit St. Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala.
“It’s possible all 16 Russian [Premier League] clubs will compete and all 14 Ukrainian [Premier League] ones,” Pryadkin said.
If this proposal gets passed through then a possible move might be possible.

On a similar theme to the Barcelona sponsor shirt deal for many years they pointblank refused sponsorship deals taking a moral high ground or a pride thing,eventually they realised they were chucking money away and for what PRIDE and now its not even a story anymore.

Once he cottoned on how things are played up here he now knows how to play back,but theres a couple of issues i would like him to clear up,who employed him to become the CEO? Dont need to know everybody but a few would certainly pass that little doubt.
Plus i dont think he's been hard enough with the media(face to face)anyway. ie because of the BBC antics the other night i would like them banned permantely including tv and radio(if possible) then if not no interviews for them at all.
Until they publicly on tv apoligise they get nothing from Rangers,i would also extend that to any other media outlets.

i heard a rumour that Clyde were scrambling to find stewards and other helpers and capacity might be reduced big time or even No away fans.
