  1. your having a fucking bubble aint you

    we have

    mckay

    bedoya

    edu

    mcculloch

    fleck

    ness (if fit)

    ortiz

    davis

    wylde

    aluko

    bartley

    whittaker (when fit)

    wallace

    lafferty (when fit)

papac (he never is one but ally seemed to think so)

thats 15 players ally has used at one point or another in midfield, if mccoist buys midfield cover then he should be fucking chased from the job for wasting what little money we have

    Watch this space bubbleman. <cr>

  2. That's when the tax man comes soap dodgers lol. The depth of the rangers squad and quality in it know no bounds haha. Sign super ally on a longer contract he's the man , he can spot talent like sandanza lol roll on the glory years Hail Hail tax and soap dodgers

Does your Carer realise you're on the computer?

  3. Got him when? The day we signed Healy? Which would be the only fair comparison. Both having the same amount of preperation.

Boyd would take his place as soon as he was match fit. How long that would be? I have no idea.

Ok mate, I've been a bit unfair here as you personally didn't call for Boyd to return. The point I'm making is it's unlikely that we will be able to get anything better than what Healy is already doing between now and May. Those who want Boyd to return would need to take into consideration that he's hardly played any football since he left us (did he do a preseason) and may be a good six weeks off a first team appearance should we resign him.

I think we will sign Sandaza as Jelavic's replacement, hopefully get a bit of cover for midfield and that's our lot unfortunately. I also think Healy will do the business.

    (tu)

  4. I said you cannot compare Healy to Boyd, dont put words in my mouth, again.

    OK.

I'm comparing what Healy did yesterday to what Boyd would be capable of this saturday if we got him. When do you think Boyd would be ready to take Healy's place?

  5. (tu)

And how unfair would that be, Healy has been training every day.

Your argument is balls, no offense like.

You'd rather Boyd than Healy, when do you think he'll be ready to take his place?

Your argument is ignoring the reality of the situation, no offenCe like. (tu)

  6. Why would he? Its two games ffs. Only a fucking idiot would decide whether someone has it or not in the space of two games. Its a start, thats all it is.

He's finally being given his chance and is grabbing it with both hands

Scottish football is shite, but its top two clubs are not, in fact, its top two clubs have a turnover comparible to any top club in Europe outside the top 4/5 big leagues.

FFS you're forever telling us how shite rangers have been.

Our past couple of games have been against our whipping boys and a 2nd division side. So he can do the basics against part timers, well hallefuckinglujah

Who exactly do you think he won't be able to do it against between now and May?

Anyway, something I've noticed about you and Mr Positivity McLaughlan is you can never deal in specifics just shout "He/We're Shite" as loud as you can

I would have Healy before O'Connor every day of the week but trying to compare him the leagues all time scorer. Give me piece.

    "Peace"

I'm simply comparing Healy with the Kris Boyd that would turn up on saturday if we signed him this week. He wouldn't be as good as Healy and wouldn't warrant a place in the starting line up.

  7. He didnt say he was shite the last two games, he is talking in general, as a footballer.

Now you're being ridiculous. generally people judge a players ability by watching them in games. I'd have thought McLaughlan would have taken the last two games into consideration when drawing his conclusion.

Fact is Scottish football is shit and can't attract top players. Healy has shown in the past couple of games that he can cut it in Scotland and given a bit more game time his sharpness will improve.

His work rate, link up play and positional sense was excellent yesterday as can be demonstrated with his goal, his cross for Kerkar, his one two's with Jelavic and even winning that corner with a back heel on the 83min.

What's the point in replacing him with Boyd or O'Connor hoping that they can be AS GOOD as that?

  8. Healy will never make it at Rangers, he is only getting a game because we have no one else. Credit to him for his effort for last few weeks though.

Eh, he's already doing it. All he needs to do is continue this til the end of the season.

  9. We will not win the league with David Healy as our main goal scorer IMO

If Jelavic goes then we need to sign someone if not then Healy-Jelavic-Fleck-Hemmings can do til the summer.

I don't think we'll be able to sign anyone in January who will be able to step in straight away and do better than Healy is doing at the moment.

  10. Healy is coming to the end of his career and I don't rate him. Would be a backwards step to think he is Rangers class. Is fine as backup to our main striker though just in case. Jela up front on his own works well with a player in behind him....Fleck or Aluko or Naismith.

No it doesn't, he needs a strike partner.

  11. Anyone think that McKay might not be fit enough and blowing it out his arse in training? Ortiz maybe shows no interest in improving after an indifferent start and Bedoya might be shit.

ps. I only think Ortiz was a McCoist signing. The other two were bought for him to pad out the squad.

  12. A good day all round. No point in nitpicking and we all know what Ally needs to do in the window. Did I mention David Healy is mince?

Healy did well today. Apart from fluffing those initial couple of chances he worked hard, got himself in some great positions, scored, set up one, good passing and closing down.

I'm not going to argue about it anymore as it's obvious that some posters just don 't like Healy but I believe Healy's gonna be a big player for us in the next few months so bookmark this. :)

  13. I made no comparison - I didn't say it was like it, or say it was the same thing, we were like a jakey, in a jakey-like financial state, etc.

I also don't believe we have no money, so if I was to make that comparison, I'd be disagreeing with myself. Anyway, not the big picture here.

No probs mate. I too believe we will be able to do a bit of wheeling and dealing this month just don't think Lomas was having a dig at us, just being put under pressure to comment on the ins and outs of this Sandaza situation.

Anyway, let's hope for a good team performance today and some confidence building individual performances.
