Since when has he been played in that position ? His best performance this season was the first half for Northern Ireland against Poland when he WAS played in his best role as a strikerWe are in desperate need of a centre forward who has a bit of robustness about him.Lafferty was brought in to do that but he isn't cutting the mustard at all.

From what i remember, Fergie wasn't a bad player but he let the team down in that 1969 cup final by not marking McNeill at the corner kick in first couple of minutes.
As to being married to a catholic i don't think thats what stopped him,(if that was the case he wouldn't have been offered the job in the first place) i think it was more to do with the Daily Rhebel running an article at the time about his wife being catholic and the hassle she would have to (allegedly) put up with. Fergie read this item and thought "FUCK THIS, me or my family don't need this" and that was that !

£2m (well £1.9m if you want to be exact) on Kenny Miller - the worst striker at the club. He has very little pace, he plays with an injury, he runs like he's shat himself, he has no touch, no vision or composure, he cannot header a football, he cannot shoot. He doesn't know how to hold a ball up, and does not have the ability to pick out a simple five yard pass, and although some say he can play the lone role, he simply can't, and that was proven once again last night. But hey, he's scored four goals against Celtc.

Sevilla are not better than Real or Barca. They are a excellent team no doubt about that but not as good as the top two.

Everytime i have seen john fleck playin for the first team he has done absolutely FUK ALL. People came in their pants when he took a penalty against dundee united but since then his performances have been a waste of a postion. he is not a left mid anyway but he cant even spot a pass or anything. smith is playing him to keep him happy but atm i couldnt give a fuk if he leaves. scotlands answer to wayne rooney? fuk off. This kid believes his own hype and thinks he's the dogs balls, were as he's actually just balls.
