  1. As someone who grew up in the 90s we certainly had plenty to cheer about back then, and thought it would never end. But as we are paying the price for SDM's shadiness and egotism, I wonder what would have happened had he never appeared. I know the Souness era had already begun before he took full control, and the title had been won for the first time in nearly a decade. Would this momentum have carried on? Or would we have maybe not had a monopoly of success but built a more realistic and sustainable model without having to worry about the shite hitting the fan? My dad told me that in the 70s we were considered a very well run operation, especially compared to the scum, and that revenues from stuff like the pools helped us build what was then a world class all seater ground. Where would be now if we have stuck with this model?
  2. How many do you think would sign up for say a tenner a month? Twenty thousand? Could potentially bring in well over a million a year.
  3. I know a fair amount about gambling having been doing it since my mid teens. But I've never been a big staker, the most I ever bet is twenty or thirty quid on a short odds football acca. However, whenever I'm in the bookies putting on a fiver or less I'm surrounded by guys peeling of tenners for shitey dog and horse races. How do they do it? The vast majority of punters either lose or barely break even, not to mention there aren't a lot of well paid jobs around. Anyone on here like that and knows what is going on?
