  1. We've been through the worst and still emerged through the other side. Nothing to fear.
  2. Was that the first playing of the tape? I don't recall it earlier on the news at six, tuned in a bit late though.
  3. It's about the Thatcher party in George Square mate, he's defending it, you'd love him!
  4. More likely to shit himself given his performance so far.
  5. Wasn't he quite big in silent movies? Surprised he's still alive...
  6. I hope he doesn't end up making a tit of us. A lot of us - self included - have been willing to suspend any doubts because he made the right noises when we were at our lowest ebb.
  7. I think he probably regrets how big a contract he gave Ally, but he probably realises that if he sacks him the fans will turn against him, particularly in light of recent press skullduggerry. The sad thing is this will probably keep Ally boss. Legend that he is, he doesn't have what it takes and I fear we are only delaying the inevitable sacking next season if the team are still half as bad.
  8. Has anyone noticed he is the bookies' favourite to be next boss? Anything in this? As far as I can see he has no coaching experience and seems to be settled with TV work.
  9. Agreed. At last we have a man who will fight our corner. Our enemies want to push us even further down as they fear our revival.
  10. Great post, let's all get behind Charles and co an watch out for our enemies.
  11. twenty years? Phuck me where did the time go.
  12. This will be a laugh. I think he may well keep them up as a new manager always injects a bit of enthusiasm, especially one of Di Canio's erm, motivational skills.
  13. Stuart McCall for me. Streetwise and can work wonders on a modest budget. Has also beaten Lennon's mob. The fact he is a gers man is merely a bonus.
  14. I think Green will be worried. We will be looking at a season book price hike for next season and if we keep getting served up this dross I won't be the only one in two minds. On the other hand he doesn't have the mandate to sack a legend, well not yet anyway but another month or two of this and it will be demanded of him. I think Green might move Ally elsewhere in the summer and go with someone who can blend youth and experience at a much reduced cost.
  15. For me it's either McCall or Butcher given what they have achieved on shoestring budgets and their streetwise credentials for Scottish football. Just get the job done next two seasons and take it from there. Sadly Ally is an expensive shambles.
  16. You must be joking he was totally inept until he scored. Plus he will be on very good money down there. Are we learning nothing from this season?
  17. How much is he on again to field a team costing six million a year to get embarassed by part timers? £750k?
  18. Of course he should go. In fact he is probably one defeat away from the sack at this rate. Charlie needs to move him elsewhere at the end of the season and bring in a streetwise grafter like McCall who can see us through the divisions and maybe win a cup or two. McCall would probably cost less in wages and would definitely be able to assemble a team to win the lower leagues at a fraction of the cost.
  19. Sandaza rejected joining us two years back so he was never exactly committed. Just chases the money. A few imbeciles were taken in by his 'I'm here for the history' PR crap in the summer. He's been set up by this fud but he is just a modern mercenary. He even said the supporters were amazing to be fair.
  20. Personally I think Ally is one more embarassing result from the sack or enforced resignation. By that I mean a defeat or even another draw at home. Who knows though, MacLeod might come back and we might start humping teams by four or five again until May.
