has anyone got through ?
I got through on the internet a few times just after ten. But my half hour ran out and there was no tickets up for East Stirlingshire or season tickets.
No luck on phone.
-
To be honest its a bit pathetic that you get cut off the phone and the website is down for a club of this size.
It keeps you're phone bill down I suppose.
-
I don't mean to be a skeptic... But I'm sure on occasions like this they deliberately close the phone lines and website so that the folk that queued get tickets. A bit shit for those of us at work trying to do it on the sly!
-
Sad to say but it is, our players are all full time, a lot of internationalists, former Seria A etc.
-
Hardly a surprise, I'm sure he was well aware of this when committing his future to us.

Just back from my wee trip around Europe.
Went to Berlin and went and saw the Berlin Wall. Clocked this and it made me smile.
Thought I would share.
I think I saw that when I went the Berlin bus tour (or one similar as near the East Side gallery).

I think it's the facts that it's potentially two contracts. One and registered and one not. It's not the amount paid, it's what's been registered with the SFA.

Well fucking said CharlesGreen

A lot better than 0.68% of what the english fitba' league get over the same period, how about you ?
For just one teams games in the Scottish Lower leagues? You were expecting more?
-
No politician, or head of a government would step in, for any team.
-
Excellent, I'm skint as well, any idea when the offer is running until?
Tonight as far as I'm aware.

JJB are doing an offer where you are getting an extra 15% off anything in store over £10 plus free delivery. Just checked the Rangers short sleeve mens top and it works out at £25. Good price for anyone that still hasn't been able to buy it yet
Well spotted!
It's not the home jersey, but I really liked this and just bought it.

If Bocanegra, Goian and Edu haven't got moves yet are they in theory available for selection here?
I'd say so, but I doubt they or our management will want to risk them being injured and potentially jeopardising a move away where we could get a transfer fee then have to pay for rehabilitation.
-
Been going twenty years and had a season ticket for ten of them and many away games in my younger days with my dad, so I'm fortunate enough to say hundreds, I really couldn't count them.
-
Makes you a bit sick thinking about it.

Like everyone else I am unhappy about accepting the Registration Embargo but why in the name of god is it being post dated to 1st September? I would think we'd have been much better off with the ban applying to this window and Januaury's window given that we currently have a squad capable of winning the 3rd division. If we cannot sign players in next year's summer window we run the risk of starting our campaign in the 2nd division poorly with no chance to strengthen until the January of 2014. If we have to accept the Registration Embargo we should insist it applies from the date at which it was originally applied.
Because we're still going to loose players like Edu, Boca, Goian etc, so we need to replace them to maintain a squad.

I don't think London is. Only Wembley and the Emirates over 50,00 is it not? Don't think Stamford Bridge exceeds 50,000
Twickenham and the Olympic stadium can be used nor football.

A full fans ownership model cant work at our club. FACT
Sadly, over the past 4 or 5 months this has been proven to be sure.
-
I want a fans owned club, but it needs a nought for profit backer willing to put in a lot of money until the fans take over. And that's not going to happen.
It's my ideal, and I want to work towards it.
-
I thought the SFL had a price cap for games?
-
Dumbarton, a few of my mates support them!
-
Does anyone have a pic of the white top we wore last night, or is it just the training top?
-
absolute fuckin joke but i think we should just accept it, if we dont then they have to meet again to decide on another punishment which could be a year out the game, who honestly wants that? lets just get back to the football we will canter the 3rd with the team we have just now and some quality under 18s
Worst they'll do is suspend us from the Scottish Cup for a year or two. No chance they'd take us out of the league for a year.
-
How the fuck can it stay, wasn't it declared as illegal?
It basically means it's not legally enforceable unless we willingly agree to adhere to it.
We're being basically blackmailed by these shower of bastards now.
Anyone able to get the new season books working on site?

Yeah, it's understandable. It's just a bit frustrating them opening up the East Stirlingshire tickets at the same time!
