...and what are these that benefit Rangers Football Club?

Is it to show how PC Rangers is?

Is it to show how we're not 'small minded'?

and just when will any woman be playing for 'Rangers'? They'd be playing for Rangers womens team, like Ressies play for Rangers Reserves,or Rangers Colts etc. This must be differenciated.

As has been stated often, most aren't against women playing the game but it should be self-sustaining IF they're to be FT professional.

It's obvious or should be,even to you, that the Club has development teams in the hope of producing future senior players or players for transfer

Most sports aren't self-sustaining when trying to gain traction.  Most businesses aren't, and have to be backed until it does become self-sustaining. Heck, Scottish football in general isn't self-sustaining.

Women's football is a growth area, young girls are running about wearing Rangers gear, women going to games is increasing and actively supporting Rangers. Women's football will have benefits for the first team, and the club should actively promote all areas of the sport.

  2. In the cold hard light of the morning, and I still feel the same. It seems obvious in hindsight, but everyone around me was saying it when the team was announced. That team has no width and there is no out ball.

That coupled with the inexperience of Aribo and Ojo (when he come on), meant it would be hard for us to make an impact on the game. But to compound things, we seemed to double down and play defensively and sat of them, allowing them to press us. All of this clear in the first 10minutes, and although the change at halftime helped slightly, we should have changed in the 1st half. Jones and Morelos on earlier and we might have stood a chance.

Said when we signed he’d score and assist more than Kent but I just can’t put my finger on what it is about him I don’t like.

I feel almost like he tracks back when it’s not needed but when it’s needed the most he just doesn’t. Their goal yesterday stems from a pass into Allan from his side, where I expect him to be if we don’t have the ball. Really annoyed me yesterday especially considering we should’ve been up by 4 at that point.

In my opinion, he's just that wee bit slower in closing down or shifting over when the ball goes out wide that what Kent or Candeias did. But hopefully he grows into the role, as he certainly seems to get  on the scoresheet and gets in good attacking positions.

    A) How unforgivably bad must his performances in training have been if what we saw on the pitch was supposedly where he gave his best?

Lafferty showing zero self-awareness if he thought his on the pitch performances last season warranted more game-time.

The development fee not around 50/60k for Scottish players?

Hopefully it would be at a minimum the development fee, plus a bit more or a sell-on clause, as I'm pretty sure he signed a new contract with us last year (I think).

I've seen loads of comments on Twitter about why are we letting young talent go... but how many teams ever bring through 2 or 3 players a year? You maybe get that over 5 years... the thing is developing players and making sure they are good enough  for moving them on for a fee, not just letting them go for free

This is beyond a joke and a poor service to Loyal fans travelling to support the team. Even if Progres have failed to provide tickets on time, fans already in Europe or travelling over the next couple of days should be able to collect tickets in Luxembourg and not be fobbed of with “We’ll try to send them out...” Sending them out is not much use if you’ve already headed off!

I agree, it's the communication which has been a joke. I sent  (what I thought to be) a reasonably clear email asking when the latest possible pick-up at the ticket center would be, and got fobbed off with, "an email will be sent out once received. Surely there should be a contingency for these situations that can be communicated?

i get they will want to minimize collections over there, but people have plans and could do without the anxiety of not knowing, and unable to plan.

Good luck to him. Hopefully makes the move permanent as he's clearly not going to make it here.

Would have been a better 2nd choice keeper than Foderingham IMO but we don't seem to have anyone trying to take him off our hands and we can't keep them all.

In what way is Alnwick a better back-up to MacGregor than Fod? Fod is the better keeper, and didn't cause any apparent issues last year after being dropped from no.1.

Alnwick is a competent keeper and better than a no.3 goalie, so good luck to him. But I'm glad it's him that's away and not Fod.

  8. A good move. This is the normal for most leagues in Europe such as Germany, Spain, Italy and more and more so, England.

It is a bit of a money grab, but the likes of Bayern offer 10% of all merchandise purchases and access to home and away tickets. So, there would have to be something like that baked into the membership.

Personally I think it makes fans and supporters feel more connected with the club, it allows casual followers to feel as if they are contributing more directly and allows international supporters (possibly even banking on the Steven Gerrard effect) to join and spread the presence of Rangers even further.

In the past if you booked official trip even with 0 points you got a ticket. Used to annoy life out of me getting a knock back for a ticket on 3 or 4 points booking trips myself and people on 0 points got 1 so they could fill the plane.

I tend to agree with you. For this campaign, the demand will be high for the day trip especially with the price, so I can imagine those on 0pts will struggle to get a ticket.

  10. Booked up on Thomas Cook for me and a mate. Not holding out much hope for a ticket, demand looks high and we are on 0pts.

I don't usually complain much, but it's not entirely clear that your aren't guaranteed a spot unless you meet the set criteria until after you submit payment information. I knew that beforehand, but for unsuspecting customers, a clearer "warning" would be good.

  11. There's no point widening the pitch unless we play with wide players who attack down the line; ours cut back inside every time.

It also widens the distance between our players, so the attempted short passing we like to do will be harder to implement.

At no stage were Dundee all over us

Indeed, to say they were all over us is a complete exaggeration.

We had difficult spells in the game, but we managed them. 7 competitive games this season and undefeated is definitely a solid start to the season.
