  1. I've seen a few shouts for Russia, I must be missing something about them:

    Russia Euro 2012 squad

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeyev (CSKA Moscow), Vyacheslav Malafeyev (Zenit St Petersburg), Anton Shunin (Dynamo Moscow).

Defenders: Alexander Anyukov (Zenit St Petersburg), Alexei Berezutsky (CSKA Moscow), Sergei Ignashevich (CSKA Moscow), Roman Sharonov (Rubin Kazan), Vladimir Granat (Dynamo Moscow), Kirill Nababkin (CSKA Moscow).

Midfielders: Igor Denisov (Zenit St Petersburg), Roman Shirokov (Zenit St Petersburg), Konstantin Zyryanov (Zenit St Petersburg), Yuri Zhirkov (Anzhi Makhachkala), Alan Dzagoyev (CSKA Moscow), Igor Semshov (Dynamo Moscow), Denis Glushakov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Marat Izmailov (Sporting Lisbon), Dmitri Kombarov (Spartak Moscow).

Forwards: Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal), Alexander Kerzhakov (Zenit St Petersburg), Roman Pavlyuchenko (Lokomotiv Moscow), Alexander Kokorin (Dynamo Moscow), Pavel Pogrebnyak (Fulham).

Russia are a strong team, I think they'll finish top of their group

  2. To be fair mate I would say its a very high chance that Russia, Croatia, Denmark and Ukraine will go out in the first round. You wont have many players left.

Russia have the best squad out of their group, I really don't think there is a high chance they'll go out in the first round.

  3. You seriously think they wouldn't? Have you been watching their behaviour throughout all this?

They haven't a fucking clue. They don't know their own rule book and decide to make things up as they go along.

They are absolutely useless in every way, shape and form. They should all be sacked by Dorin Goian and new people appointed as the current bunch are clueless.

I would expect and be happy to accept expulsion from the Scottish Cup for the next year or two, don't care about it!

This is all such a mess :(

I know its a mess, but if they kick us out the whole of the spl goes down the toilet, this was seen earlier in the season when Rangers delayed their payment to dunfermline for tickets and dunfermline couldn't pay their players because they needed the money and it was only 75'000 pounds or something

  4. It's purely the wages that is the issue.

I would have no qualms about Super Ally going out and spending 3-5 million on a Jelavic quality striker, so long as he agreed to keep his wages at a certain limit. He would be able to progress and go to England anyway, so a year or two with an esteemed club like ours would prepare him for that and hopefully we could sell him on at the same price or higher.

    Agreed
