  1. I think the point remains though (in connection to King), how can he ask fans to oppose a CVA knowing the inevitable Liquidation that would follow it? Would you not agree that his position needs some sort of viable alternative to lend it any creedance with Rangers fans?

    Couldn't disagree.

  2. Wow - we've got a live one here.

:sleep1: And you are exactly? You know what you and Mr Boss both are? Ordinary punters sitting behind a keyboard same as me. What an over inflated ego it is that comes away with a comment like that. To disagree with big Guardian or big Boss I have to be a "live one".:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Go take a flying fuck to yourself ya prick!

  3. A bit like King. Willing to snipe at others plans and opinions while offering nothing in return.

Aw FFS :wanker: Naw! Just can't be arsed posting ideas up with arses like you who don't even read the posts they so readily ridicule e.g. re your 'response' above, go toddle off through the thread and give me an example where I "SNIPE at others plans and opinions".

  4. His point though surely is that Green is the only person to offer an answer? It's all good and well Dave King saying he doesn't trust Green. Few fully do. The point though is, how can you ask a whole fanbase not to back this when there isn't an alternative?

I've NEVER ONCE asked anyone not to back Green. All I've done is give my opinions on King. All I've said about Green is that it doesn't feel right to me. My ego is not inflated enough to come on here to tell the fanbase how they should vote. I hope sincerely my feelings are wrong and that Green does get it right.

  5. No, you don't. You really don't. You seem to know what you are against but have no idea what the alternative answer is. Very useful. We really could do with more people that have no answer, rather than someone like Green who has come up with an answer. Whether it's a good answer or not, only time will tell. But that's one more answer than you or King seem to have.

Why let the truth get in the way of a smart arse. I have already stated I have opinions but can't be arsed putting them up for a clay pidgeon shoot at the moment. That is NOT ONE BIT different to you because you DONT HAVE ANY ANSWERS either - only opinions the same as me. So at the end of the day you HAVE NO CLUE either, just more time than me to argue your little opinions. Don't get ahead of yourself Boss! (tu)

  6. I don’t think it feels right to any of us tbh, I mean we have already been shafted by a man who promised the world to us never mind David Murray who led us to the path of destruction with his careless rainbow chasing.

We would all want Rangers men in the position Green is in at the moment but the facts are no Rangers man or men done enough to be in that position so sniping at the man who has put up the cash and trying to get a CVA pushed through leaves a bad taste in this bears (and looking at the boards a good few other bears) mouth!

No one trusts Green 100% or even more than 50% I’d imagine because of the past 12 months but we are where we are, we can either trust the Administrators and Green or men who failed to put up the cash to save our club....

I’m reluctantly going with D&P/Green on this one…mainly because it sickens me to think of the other alternative.

Point well put and I can't really dispute anything you say (tu) .

  7. Just ask Judge Southwood.

I'm supposed to be won over because some tosser in a curly wig doesn't happen to like King's way of working?

These pompous tossers views don't impress me any more than the man on the street.

Just ask Judge Lord Calloway!!

  8. How dare fans pin their hopes on the only man who put the money up for a CVA to even be considered….

Don't pick me up wrong, I have absolutely no qualms whatsoever with people who believe in Green. All I'm saying is that it doesn't feel right to me. I genuinely hope I'm proved wrong because my Club comes way before my ego. And I respect other peoples rights to their opinions.

  9. What would you suggest as an alternative ?

I'm sorry but it's that Myopic standpoint that got us Whyte and could lead us down the same road again (and if that happens then we trully will be in trouble), and I've got that same feeling again. I don't have the answers (well I have my own personal opinions but can't be arsed posting them up for a clay pigeon shoot) so I'm not any better but I know that I don't like this one.

  10. Sorry, but thats a good few posts on this now and somebody needs to clue you in.

Dave Kings business with SARS is VERY FAR from over. About as much as Rangers business with HMRC is over.

SARS allowed him to take a position in his company again, but that was all.

He is still facing court over the massive tax bill. There were also fraud, racketeering and money laundering charges, some of which were dropped in favour of pursuing the tax case.

SARS recently auctioned off his vineyards, and before that his plane and a few other properties.

You state he has loads of shares etc in his mothers name around the world. Why did he do that ?

He will never get his name cleared in scotland until he does settle with SARS.

King may well have cash stashed all over the world but he can't spend any of it without SARS permission.

Do we really want someone this dodgy near our club ? He is just a more successful (for a while at least) Craig Whyte.

Thanks for 'clueing me in' . SARS won't be getting another thin dime out of King - they know it, King knows it, but King's dissenters like to use it against him.

SARS are acting like a dying fish on the end of King's line. Every now and then they make flapping noises to prove they are not going to be taken that easily, and to make his life difficult.

They are still raging that they didn't get any more than they did out of him. They had no choice but to start letting him do business again - because they had exhausted all of their avenues.

I agree he may not get his name cleared in Scotland. But to put him in the same bracket as Whyte? Someone needs to clue you in buddy.

I will leave the stage to you, as no point in arguing, as we will clearly NEVER agree on this one. I will leave the subject from my side on one final proposition. When SARS get more money out of King come back on here with the link etc and I will donate pence in the pound to the cause of your choice.

  11. Lewis was a different kettle of fish....when he found out that he had been done over he took steps to get out.....................King got something for his £20m and after all these years since that investment was made , he now says he was mislead .....hmm stunning business acumen .

OK OK. You guys are all right and I'm wrong. Green is King (excuse the pun). Love live the King! And we will now ride off into a new sunset after we get a CVA approved. Do you mind if I don't come along for the ride though as I'm long enough in the tooth now to trust my feelings and they tell me that over this new horizon the path wears thin.

  12. Don't you just love the twisted logic on here? Talk about can't win if they decide they don't like you? What side of the double edged sword (or double edged finger nails more like) should I hack you with?

"You've never put any of your own mony in to the Club - now fuck off!"

    or

"He put £20m in? So fuck. With his money he can afford it" (notice that one doesn't get used when they bring up "Joe Lewis put in £40m")

    So for that reason......

  13. I don't see how urging creditors to oppose a CVA and telling Rangers supporters not to buy season tickets is 'helping' Rangers.

I agree, but not once has that been what I've been arguing about. I'm as puzzled as you as to what his game is. I'm not totally anti-Green but I am still hoping that Dave King doesn't walk away as we have honestly NOBODY like him behind the scenes willing to put money in as a Rangers fan as long as he has his place on the board. He doesn't dislike Green for no reason, but I don't know what that is. A lot of (young?) people think King is another 'newish' guy, but they have NO idea how he has supported the club for many years.

  14. So, if David King has all that, then why did he not put in a higher bid than the Green consortium?

He has only JUST been allowed to start trading again i.e. moving funds by the SA Tax authority.

He couldn't apply to be any part in Rangers takeover and that is why he HAS APPLIED to the SFA for 'proper person' status now that his business with SARS is over.

He has stated UMPTEEN times since Feb 14th that he favours no side but would like to help Rangers (but that is up to the SFA).

    He is STILL worth megabucks.

He has spoken AT LENGTH to Ally and told him that he has got to be careful BECAUSE of his business with SARS not to drag the Club into the grubber any more.

If he can get clearance against his name in Scotland i.e. SFA, he will put money in, but not to Green by the looks of it!

  15. The only person who has actually lost any of their OWN money for definite through Rangers since SDM took control is Joe Lewis, if he came out and released a statement i would sit up and listen

His OWN money? £40m? The 8th richest man in Britain at the time had £40m just to give to us? Not even a Rangers fan. No wait a minute there was shares for his £40m. Did the EIGHT richest guy in Britian pay for 40m worth of shares with his own cash? Now if he had "I would sit up and listen".
