Shocking news, Rest In Peace Arnold.
-
I just read the article and it's about his new book. HIS NEW FUCKING BOOK!!
That is fucking hilarious. Who wants to read a book about that bam? He's literally a nobody who got 15mins of Scottish football media.
11 pages of posts on here suggest some people are hanging on his every word.

Sad news, brings back so many great memories of the goalie back in the glory days.
-
To be honest, this is just journalists are like in the uk today, ask and ask and ask the same question until they get an answer they can use in a quote, or use a 'person storms out after being asked about...' headline.
Not a witch hunt, just crap journalism.
-
Colin Stein is the right answer, I seem to recall Mel Sterland doing some good things back in the 80s, Dale Gordon also as someone else has mentioned.
-
Well done OP, and I hope that all of the baying mob having a go at BP9 are strong donors to the fun, otherwise, you really do have to wonder about them.

A games around 96/97 against Hearts, Christmas time. Charlie Miller scored a goal in the first minute and then nothing happened for 89 minutes. I sat in the enclosure shivering in the snow, then at half time the floodlights went out and we had a further 15minute delay while they got them working again. Worst game I have ever been at.

How ridiculous to have a cup where the semi final is November and the final in April, they have no idea in this country how to market.
-
I think he had a pretty horrific game recently when he was in an unusual position, feel like we just need to bear with him, there is a good player in there, and he will come good.
-
Bit of a nail in the Temps coffin there, and Aird, for that matter.
I disagree with him, I don't think Waghorn is a central striker, I don't think Miller has enough in the tank to cover, I don't think Clark is good enough and Hardie is untested to date. But, let's be blunt, he knows a hell of a lot more than me
-
Like watching him, he is very good at fast reaction leaps across goal, he could turn into a really good keeper

Sad times when anyone is praising Ian Archer on here.

92-93 was the best I have ever seen us as a team. My favourite player by a million miles was Laudrup just a couple of years later.
The 90s were the glory days, and I felt like the moment we changed was that last 12 minute comeback against Marseille, we went from not good enough to contenders in just a handful of minutes that night.

I literally cannot be in the same room as this! Lol

He is 18 years old and the fans who love to slag him off need to get a grip of themselves.
Years of people banging on about wanting to see young players get a chance, the whingers are amongst the reasons why Rangers have struggled to bring through players in the past.
Give the boy a break.
-
Good effort Rangers, I am a great believer that treating staff in the right way leads to better performance, as well as the moral imperative to act in this manner.
-
why? How are they related? I fail to see circumstances we should not pay a loan back.
We should pay it back either when it comes due within the law and terms of the agreement or when it suits us to do so before then.
-
This is unbelievable, he could be the next Moroccan superstar!
Anyway, let's see, it kinda takes me back to the days of hoping that some of our young, foreign stars would come good. Not many made it out of the youth team to be honest, but hope things work out better now.

Trying to get those who wilfully wish to misunderstand to get the truth is an uphill struggle. And for some reason Scottish football authorities have been scared of the baying mob for too long to remember what it is like to be precise and just follow their own rules.
-
The entire question of tax liability is utterly misunderstood, probably wilfully, but even in the event of a loss, so what, we just effectively have a bill to pay. Ignoring the bullshit fines which should be set aside given the circumstances, the oldco could have funds to pay out with anyway, certainly on the playing staff.

'I can't see our current squad being good enough to win this league'. Absolutely Embarassing.
Apart from that I do agree we need a CM and another decent striker. Something to mix it up a wee bit to keep teams guessing. We are too predictable. Our squad is good enough, better than Hibs but still need another wee tweak IMO
With respect, the bit you put in quote marks is not what the OP said.

We have more than enough talent going around to get ourselves back to the sort of form we should be on. Anyone who cannot see that we have dipped quite dramatically through October and November is just not watching. We are starting to rely on moments of individuality far more than is ideal.
Knee-jerk reactions are hardly the plan, but we have not often been able to have a couple of bad results in a short space of time, and in the middle of an average run of form without fans criticising.
I think it is a mix of teams sussing out a way to crowd us out and our own players just losing a little bit of zip.
Btw, there can be a plan b which isn't just hoofing to a big striker, we could go two up top, flat 4 or diamond 4 in the middle, move one of our wide players inside a bit, swap the wingers, or any other manner of things.

I was young when he joined us, but the excitement across everywhere was palpable. When he left, I thought I could never forgive him for it. He even came back to manage an opposition team in a legends type testimonial and he got dog's abuse from the west enclosure, but he took it, has always been positive about us as a pundit, and as the years went by I can only really remember the great stuff he did for us, the groundwork for the magnificent 90s that he started us down.
Far too many times we set aside the glorious moments people give us for the mistakes they make. Souness is forever a legend and one of the pivotal figures in our entire history as a club.
Long story short, Get Well Soon, Graeme.

I'm sure the chorus of YMCA would offer some possibilities.

No way in my opinion, unforgivable.
