  1. Exactly, let him ban us from the cup. I honestly wouldn't care, it would only 'taint' it for the eventual winners.

I believe the SFA have a facility to withhold money from us that we would be due, and give it to United later on anyway, so what is the problem?

I would rather we kept every penny for our own use than help out United in any way shape or form, they are creditors, get to the back of the queue and join the CVA.

  2. I work on with some concerns, the RFFF is a good idea for those who are basically desperate to help in our current climate, but the money is effectively dead as soon as it leaves the person, which concerns me somewhat, it would be far better to get something back for our money, and obviously an investment plan is far more in line with that. What I like about Rangersunite is the ideas proposed relating to one member one vote (although I may tweak that to be investment related), I like that there are actual benefits to the members.

My biggest concern is always that these schemes start out as a great way for fans to be involved in the running of their club, but that they end up with one or two people establishing a very strong position as representatives, board members, etc, on the back of everyone else's money, and I'm not sure how to get around that, to be honest.

  3. I understand the sentiment, but in reality, ticketus do what they do, which is basically provide funds, and get paid back over years, if our owner has screwed us over, it isn't their issue. We are obviously out for the interests of Rangers, and that is totally correct, but the money left their account, and the want it back, it isn't their fault it didn't come into ours.

  4. I honestly think that the democracy of the internet, and the freedom of opinions is a wonderful thing, as long as people are prepared to understand that they will be subject to paranoid delusions of the most ridiculous level.

It would be interesting to see if Dermot Desmond buying Rangers would pass the fit and proper persons test at the SFA.

  5. I a very concerned that it seems to be a relatively unknown quantity, fronted by a substantial ego (not necessarily a bad thing) with no huge personal wealth. Our concern is both saving the club, and then having the funds in place to actually put as back to where we want to be.

The Blue Knights seem to be using our debt to ticketus to fund their bid, followed by fans investment to rebuild, but what are THEY actually offering.

I am also fully prepared to be open when the plans are made clearer, but it does some a little convoluted at the moment.

  6. I actually believed that liquidation was looking inevitable, and had all my arguments lined up as to why it didn't matter, until this morning, and I just feel full of optimism for the first time in weeks.
