  1. If we go about it in the right way we can make lots of friends. Anything that looks like arrogance or a sense of entitlement will not go down well. I don't want us to waste the opportunity of making friends here. We may need them in the future.

As for the OP - yes, it's a very good idea.

  2. It is bawbags such as yourself who have allowed this great club to be brought to its knees, some of us remember when being a Ranger meant something an aura of pride and loyalty, pricks like you obviously never experienced such feelings. :wanker:

If you'd have had it your way then we wouldn't be on our knees, we'd be in a coffin.

  3. Do you honestly think in the current climate of hatred and point scoring that this issue will simply be dropped? They are coming for the titles, I have no doubt.

They may want to but are afraid of how it would look if they did. This way they keep their 'allies' on board by not dropping it and paying lip service to the punishment, but may (hopefully) be inclined to permanently put it on hold.

  4. But we are still open to EBT investigation and potential sanctions e.g titles being stripped. This will just rumble on.

The SPL have reserved their position on that. It could be that they will just let it quietly drop out of embarrassment but don't want to do it in public.

  5. I wonder - is it more likely that McCoist's statement that no titles are to be stripped is creating the stumbling block for Green? If McCoist's position wasn't so deeply entwined with the support, I'm of the mind that we would have the licence and titles would be headed out the door.

McCoist has the power to ruin Green's tenure in a way that Brown can only dream of.

If this means the club dying because of no license then let's hope not.

  6. The real question is, would you be happy to accept the loss of hard fought titles so we could re-join the bottom tier of Scottish Football?

Or would you rather keep our pride and dignity, tell them it'll never happen and we'll take it from there, England perhaps?

Try and understand that England is not an option. And that if we don't get a licence then there is no more Rangers. And if that happens then we'll lose those titles which are so precious anyway. Personally, I'd take survival over pride and dignity.

  7. Fuc##n right, we should not be lying down to this shower of CORRUPT SCUM BASt##s, shouldv'e been taken to court.

What have we done wrong? It has taken a long time to grow some but we have now, KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.

Ally's statement last Friday was good enough for me,even to get up and walk out, said it all.

He is our manager and the only one from what i've read, will not let this Bast##d Liewell walk all over us, 100% behind Ally. :crabflute:

so you are happy if Rangers have played their final game ever then? I can understand a Celtic fan thinking this way but not a Rangers fan.

  8. the SPL can bluster on this all they want. They KNOW if they don't register us then Scottish footbll is all but dead.

They are trying to bluff us into rolling over on the dual contracts pish.

The only certainty if we don't get a licence is that we will be dead. I suspect that the other teams will be able to carry on somehow. Our position is nowhere near as strong as some like to think otherwise this would have been settled by now.

  9. Could this be what everone seemed to wish for. We have stood up to SPL, refused sanctions and will now not play football for a minimum of a year, thereby likely consigning the club to the history books for ever ???

If so, I hope we are glad we got what we wished for (!!)

What these fight them on the beaches types don't get is that we can't take a year out, we would simply close down for ever. We wouldn't just have a history, we would be history.
