  1. It's a sad thing to say, but I was very happy when I saw the headline that he had tendered his resignation due to the state the team is in. It was painfully obvious he wasn't up to the task after his first season in the spl, let alone the last few years of buying the leagues. At last he has made the right choice, but too late and at what cost?

He was tactically too naive and just isn't management material and I have no doubts he will walk into a cosy TV job earning just as much (if not more) than he was earning with us. The true cost to us is the fact he (and the club in general) has not taken the opportunity to build a squad and we should be going back up now with a well balanced team with an average age of say 24 that has had a few seasons thru the lower leagues to become a real force together with the ability for us to sell on and generate significant income to keep the cycle going!

  2. I have been a critic of Rangers and the way we have been playing for a number of years now but have always fallen short of asking for McCoist to be sacked or to step down but Ally is at a point that he now can't possibly redeem himself no matter what he does.

Ally, it's time to go! Legend as a player, yes! Spokesperson and pillar of strength for the club when the club has been at it's lowest point in it's history, yes! As a manager though, you just don't cut it!

Do what is right for the club Ally and move on. Allow Rangers to find someone who is capable of taking this massive, massive club back to where they belong and in the process preserve what little respect and dignity you have left!

Sometimes walking away is the right thing to do!

I used to believe this and respected him for that but nowadays all I can think is that he is in it for the money now and was in it for the money then and just said the right bullshit at the right time to keep everyone on side!!!

  3. We will win 3 or 4 nil. Then the apathy will set in.

There will be no protest either apart from maybe an attendance less than 10000

Match day ticket sales are one of our only sources of income now and maybe some very low crowds on a Saturday will get the board to take some action!

  4. I dont think a separate protest is the answer as it always looks embarrassing and we just look like a joke when a hundred or so fans mill around the main doors as the TV crews have a good laugh and then Bomber will turn up and its all down hill!

How about 3 minutes (a minute for each goal lost to Alloa) of focussed booing and jeering (no insults!) as he comes out to the bench on Saturday which will hopefully show him how we feel and after the three minutes we can get behind the team and put the protest behind us for the day! It would be loud and probably well reported and have more impact than wee boys gathering outside!

Could be repeated every match as required and I really do believe he will get the message.......

  5. I'm sick of him standing at the edge of his technical area, arms folded and doing fuck all. He brought in these players, he trains them and the buck stops with him.

I'll be there on Saturday, as always, but I'll be letting my feelings known.

Have never agreed with booing our own team or the manager but sadly its now the only method of showing how the fans feel and maybe some focussed booing as he comes out will get the message over and then we can at least focus on whats happening on the pitch!

  6. Its obvious that Ally wont go until he has extracted every last penny he can screw from the club. despite the fact that if we fail to secure promotion this season then we could find ourselves in admin again and this time recovery may be impossible! He has done as much damage to the club as most of the charlatans that have been in control over the last 5 years....

So what I cant understand is why the Board dont take action of some description and if we cant afford to pay him off at the moment then surely we can move him upstairs and ditch his assistants and bring some fresh blood and thinking into the management of the squad! At least do a press release stating that we are not happy about the result and the teams/managers performance and will be looking to improve this going forward! Do something that at least gives us fans the impression that they care and understand how we feel!!!!

  7. He's a joke but regardless he isn't filth and is a ranger.

If he was really a Ranger then he would take a look at the result tonight and the many similar results and poor performances of the last few years and do what would be best for Rangers... and resign! Ally doesnt do walking away and needs to be dragged out kicking and screaming by the looks of it so he can enjoy the millions he has screwed from us!!!

His legacy as a player is slowly being taken from us.........
