  1. The Scottish FA can tonight clarify the position surrounding the outstanding Appellate Tribunal related to Rangers FC Oldco.

It has been agreed with Sevco Scotland Ltd that the registration embargo will be accepted as a primary condition of a transfer of membership.

It is necessary to complete the judicial process following the determination by Lord Glennie in the Court of Session that required the Independent Appellate Body to revisit available sanctions relating to Oldco, having been found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute.

The Scottish FA indicated to Sevco Scotland Ltd that they had to accept responsibility for any sanctions arising out of this case as a condition of transfer of membership.

Rather than convening the Appellate Tribunal to determine from the sanctions available to it, the company directors of Sevco Scotland Ltd have chosen to accept the 12-month registration embargo. This embargo will begin on 1st September 2012 and end on 31st August 2013.

Sevco Scotland Ltd have also undertaken to accept all other outstanding conditions relating to Oldco’s charges of bringing the game into disrepute. The conditional offer of transfer will now be submitted to the Appellate Tribunal for its consideration. This will form part of the approval process for the transfer of membership which, once approved, will enable Rangers FC to take a considerable step towards participating in Irn Bru Division Three.

In addition to the above, the Scottish FA has also received the necessary financial information requested and this is being considered as part of the application process.

Subject to the completion of all legal documentation, we anticipate transfer of membership next week.

The imposition of conditions relating to transfer of membership was made on the basis that the Scottish FA, as the governing body, has an obligation to protect the integrity of the national game and to ensure that all member clubs operate within the Articles of Association

  2. Condolences to the Original Captain America who has lost his son, Jack, to cancer. Thoughts and prayers with him and his family.

  3. I don't mind the players wanting to play at a higher level and earn more money, its a short career and they should get the most our of it.....But it's the fact that they left for fucking nothing! When we need every pound we can get our hand on.

Edu is the perfect example, hes supposed to have left for £300,000... Hats off to him! We are debt free so regardless of the fact we paid £2m for him it's all profit now.

I'm sure southampton would have paid £2m for Davis it would still have been a bargain.

But the worst is Rhys McCabe, we train him, bring him up in one of the best training grounds in the country. Supply him with kit and wages. I'm sure Durrant would have provided invaluable advice and techniques and to show his respect he fucks of for nothing! He should have at least signed and then left for £200k!

Can't believe 2 Americans seem to appreciate our club more than supposide fans.

I don't know the complete ins and outs of what transferring contracts would have been. If they left for nothing then guys like Davis and McGregor would get a huge signing on fee at their new clubs and its all about the money.

It was barbaric Whittaker was on the sort of money he was, I think the young lad McMillan wouldve turned into a better RB.

I agree about McCabe and Ness though. They have proven nothing in the game and owed us a lot for their development.

The senior players desserted a sinking ship all for the greater interest of their own pockets. Loyalty doesnt exist in football anymore though.

  4. Exactly. The EBTs were more of a disadvantage if anything. 26m in savings during years when scum won more titles, with massive tax penalties driving us to insolvency in later years. Not to mention all the clubs in england who used them. We'll get attacked for everything if there's no one to mount a defence for us though , that's. The problem.

    And its a big problem.

I thought at first they wanted a precedent set by going after us first.

Vodafone got away with billions and Chelsea operated some sort of image rights scheme. I think they owed something like £12m but Chelsea said, "Nah, hows about £6m and we'll settle". Seems you can haggle with the taxman now.

It would have been widespread in Britain. There is no way, for example, Man Utd wouldnt have found out about this if say, Chelsea were luring in the big guns.

There is so much going on just now it is unreal. Its someone different sticking the boot into us each day. The football season starting would be a welcome distraction to all this.

I apologise to the OP for calling you deluded. As I said earlier, my napper is frazzled with all this shite.

Roll on East Stirling at Ibrox for a full house. I think it will be special.

  5. He did it for the money, I think. I wouldn't put anything past Desmond but my gut feel us Whyte was a plant of lloyds and Murray who though he could pocket from this.

    Question is:

What happened to the floating charges over ibrox and Murray park? Who are greens backers.

I'm not an FF John brown backer either as some on here would no doubt protest. I wouldn't tell anyone not to buy a season ticket to support the club. I would like to know the answer to these questions though. I think they are reasonable questions to ask.

I would reckon Whyte is more likely to have been put in there by Murray than Dermott.

As much as I loved Bomber as a player I think he has made a bit of an arse of himself recently.

As for your questions mate, I would love to know the answers too. Ibrox, Murray Park and The Albion Car Park for £1.5m or so? That just isnt right. Hope Green hasnt got ulterior plans for these.

  6. We know dermott is determined to get into the EPL so it's not so far fetched at all. He's said as much himself FFS.

The usual suspects though aye. Too many people crying paranoia and not opening their eyes to the bleeding fucking obvious. I mean, relegated to div 3 and talk if 5 stripped titles for an EBT scheme- something that was widespread in uk business and declared in our accounts. Come on!

Surely the only way for us to have our titles stripped would be someone (Green) saying, "Aye Ok".

It would be impossible to prove we wouldnt have won the League and Cups had we not used EBT's.

We had guys like Vignal, Ball, Malcolm in our starting XI FFS

  7. These guys are chancers by nature and after doing well in a few dodgy deals tend to grow a false sense of confidence.

I do think he totally discounted the political and media factors that make shafting a high profile club like us different from little cleaning companies that few people care about. Naive cunt that's for sure.

As to involvement with green - I hope not and there's been no evidence. It is very possible though sadly. I mean, would Whyte really sell for a quid and leave ticketus chasing him for 27m?

Green hasnt told us very much which is worrying for me. Whyte knows he is not welcome in Glasgow and Green would be hounded too if a link to Whyte could be established.

Like you say, these guys are chancers but they must have a level of intelligence in order to cover any trails going back to them. The worst Whyte would look for is to walk away having broken even. Sadly though, I think he stole between £20m-30m then got his boys Duff and Phelps in to help themselves to a further £5m odd.

Surprised the courts havent investigated this 2bh, the judge that appointed D+P as administrators must have thought, "What the fuck have I done?"

  8. Quite!

Be interesting to see what Gary Withey has to say, now he's allegedly agreed to sing - probably take years to come out though!

Remember what Airdrie did? Bought Clydebank and liquidated Airdrieonians and changed Clydebank to Airdrie Utd? I think this guy Withey tried to do this with St Mirren (with Whyte on board).

Withey, RangersSecretary, Whyte's lawyer, previously worked for Collyer and Bristow. I smell a rat!

  9. Murray and Whyte fucjed us over, of that there is no doubt.

    But.

If you believe it finishes there then you need to open your eyes.

I posted months ago that the end game for Liewell was for us to be out of the equation and then there to be only a non competitor league in Scotland. This would allow the Bheasts to move to England with uefa's backing. We on the other hand would be so far out of it that we could not make same move.

The usual suspects who pounced on that post...you still believe I was havering?

If that were to happen then surely some Sheikh would buy us and fight for us to go too? They couldnt surely say 'yes' to them and 'no' to us.

If the figures for SPL prize money I saw are accurate then they will weaken as well over the next few seasons combined with the massive cut in TV money.

My thinking is our wage bill will be pennies compared to previous seasons but we will still get the crowds at Ibrox so it could put us in a very healthy position in 2-3 years time. Don't trust Green fully either but he's the only show in town..

  10. It certainly didn't make any sense not to sell players for cash after Maribor last summer. A sensible financier would have slashed the wage bill, brought in some cash, balanced the books, and carried on trading up until the outcome of the BCT (which hasnt happened yet). It's not as if a football clubs cash flows are difficult to forecast, he should have seen it coming and cut costs accordingly.

I happen to think he was planted but not by the scum. By Murray and Lloyds. Lloyds got their exit. Murray found someone else on which to deflect the blame.

Whyte I think was in it for a return. I honestly think he could follow the same strategy he did with other distressed businesses. Take us unto admin, shaft the creditors, leave the HMRC in a position where they had to settle or take higher losses, then even if we had to go the liquidation route he could still say he tried and would have a debt free RFC with its global fan base to sell for millions.

    W

hat he under estimated was the politics, the level of public scrutiny, and the sanctions & obstacles from the sfa. HMRC were never going to deal with a front page news story business the way they would with the little com

Nobody had likely heard of the businesses he went in and ended.

How he thought he could get away with it at Rangers is mental, he needs put in a mental ward. He must still be sniffing about with Green in some capacity

  11. Seems a strange one, when you look back on it - at the time we were just glad that something was happening.

Craig Whyte spoke a very good game when he first came in but I started having my doubts about him when we were failing to get the likes of Craig Conway as a free agent and even the Goodwillie transfer debacle.

Murray must have plenty of people in the business world that knew about Whyte's background of winding up companies. Think of the amount of stuff people were finding about Whyte on the internet when he was outed.

Murray and Whyte will never be forgiven but there has to be more people. Duff and Duffer was surely a massive fraud involving Collyer and Bristow. Unreal we were knocking back transfer fee's for the likes of Naismith in Feb - who does that in administration?

My brain has been frazzled since well before Feb. I don't know what to believe anymore but nothing will surprise me now, absolutely nothing.

  12. I think Whyte was planted - how come a potless arsehole arrived on the scene immediately after Smith got the boot & Septic broadened their power base at the SFA with Liewell's ex-Coors mate, Regan?

I don't think we will ever know 2bh. I have spoke to a few people who are adamant that Whyte was placed in there by Ellis.

  13. Your a beggar and if your not your certainly acting like one in other posts too.

I can assure you I am not.

I would suggest anyone posting about Lawwell in a topic would be more likely to be a tim.

Some of our support need to get a realisation for the real world.

The abuse some of our players got for leaving was awful.

What player with any ambition wants to take a pay cut, play in 4th tier of scottish football, no European football for years? People would rather look after number one than care for loyalty.

If we ever get this SFA license granted we should be able to rely on our youth up to Division One. Clean slate, debt free, no one man in charge and we will be back providing we are well run.

Nothing is going to change the position we are in now so as soon as we kick off against Peterhead the better cause fans are arguing with each other everywhere, no wonder after the 5-6 months we've had.

  14. They didn't do anything to help either, we were not in admin an hour an those peado cunts came out with the statement "we don't need Rangers" we have a perfect business model, one that has the cunts in debt to the tune of around 10 million and they have mortgaged peadotown for around the same sum.

so away you go back to kiddyfiddle street and spout your pish there ya cunt

Why the fuck would our bitter rivals help us you clown? Would we help them?

    Dear god you are thick.

  15. Have you not got a forum of your own to go on? Oh yes that's right, you hate Rangers more than you love your own club.

Just cause I don't buy into the pish you have spouted I am a tim? Over 1000 people have viewed your post, telling me I am the only one who thinks you're wired to the moon?

Remember their conspiracy theories about refs cheating them but this only happened when they got defeat? They were a laughing stock in believing they could not possibly lose a match fairly. This conspiracy you have posted is equally laughable.

Yes, it is shite the extent of punishment the inept, lying bastards at Hampden are now trying to impose on us but to apportion this back to Fat Pete? Take it he drew up the EBT's too?

I'm as angry at current events at our club as much as the next bear but we are paying the price for total gross mismanagement by 'Rangers Men' from the previous regime, NOBODY or NOTHING ELSE.

  16. Assuming we lose Wallace, Broaders and Bedoya, the tarriers would be about 1/10. They would destroy us.

Hope we do get chucked out Scottish Cup, Willy Hills would walk away, how commercially valuable is a Scottish Cup with no Gers?

  17. I think some of our supporters have a cheek to call Timothy the tin foil hat brigade.

    This post is pure delusion.

Celtic had nothing to do with us going into admin or getting liquidated. The blame game was purely within Ibrox corridors. It still pains me that so few men could cripple such a great institution.

  18. Rangers folk law

    Too funny

I had a chuckle at this. Should we tell him?

Wallace is a certainty to go. Prry, Clubfoot and Bedoya too.

Its brutal but DV3 teams are part time, surely our younger pro's can rise to this, especially with us supporting them at home.

  19. If we play like we did tonight combined with a mixture of our bus parking en-route to Manchester.... I think we can go far in The Ramsdens Cup.

Cannot wait for Ibrox and game v East Stirling. I doubt they have played in front of 5,000 fans let alone 50,000 bears absolutely choking to see our team run out at Ibrox.

Biggest home crowd on a Saturday coming from Scottish 3rd Division!

  20. I know we like our away days, but what if approached the SFL and all the clubs in Div 3 to get them to agree to play all our games at Ibrox next season and the "away" ties would be cash at the gate with 25% of the gate money going to the wee clubs.

    So instead of getting 2500 x £12 x 2 = £60k per season they will get 30,000 x £3 x 2 = £180k per season.

    More money in our coffers

More money in the wee clubs coffers

More fans get to see the games every week

    Its a win/win/win situation.

Your heart is in the right place but that is plain bonkers.

Unfair to ask far afield fans to travel to Glasgow 4 times a season.

  21. i know we are now in the 3rd division as punishment for previous owners misdeads.

but what about spartans as they could launch legal action against the sfa because we got the vacant spot instead of them.

ind you when 1 of the diddy teams in spl dies(soon) they'll have to shift everything about again.

whats the bet they'll invite us straight back up.

I'm sure Spartans Tweeted they would not be challenging the decision should we get put into 3rd Division.

Why would they? Procedures are in place for us to get put into 3rd Division. Losing party pays and all that....Doubt they have enough money to throw away in a frivilous case, unless Regan pays for it of course.

Still think we'll end back up in the SPL before the season starts, hope to fuck I am wrong though.
