Cue the forum numpties, it's so obvious now, and pretty boring.
-
Ok thanks. Annoying when people do this stuff then claim it's true.

Seen a photo doing the rounds of the gates painted red with a big poppy in the middle, haven't seen it mentioned on here, is it fake. Tried to upload the photo but without success.

I can guarantee you it wasn't covering an advertising board. We collected the flag from front door at the end and they said the reason was "inciting a riot". No doubt you will back them up ffs.
We are the loyal
The paisley loyal
That is disgusting!

Flags get moved at Ibrox if covering advertising boards, they don't get confiscated though. Were they asked a few times not to do it and proceeded to do it anyway? If taken without good reasoning then kick up a storm about it.

So are RST and RF the main body of this?
Isn't it healthy to have differing views, why would a fan representation group demand that all shareholders share the same view. That part stinks for me.
-
Have a friend that supports St Mirren and they reckon 5-0 to the Gers, as the referee after last week is going to give us everything going and they wont finish with 11.
3-0 and a great performance and I'll be happy.

Yeah football is a contact sport but less so than a few years back. There is a difference though between a mistimed tackle resulting in a foul and going in with studs up and the potential to break someone's leg.
If this happened in the EPL that Gibbons tackle and the forearm smash on Oduwa would have been dealt with afterwards if not by the referee. The SFA are a bunch of clueless idiots not interested in helping RFC one bit.
-
You think that would sort it? We've already had Macleod, Shiels (twice), Templeton off the top of my head get seriously injured in the past few years and this shite has still continued in every match we play.
I have no idea what would sort it, as you say it has been going on for a long time. I think our players need to back each other up more, get in about the referee and the offending player. Bring in a hard fair player, just not stoop to their level.
-
Absolutely not, we would be the team to be made an example of. The referees need to do their job and be taken to task if they dont.
What's it going to take though before anything is done, a snapped leg?!
-
He's obviously impressing at training but if you cant take that into matches then you have a problem. His first touch a lot of the time really lets him down. I would love NK to be a success at Rangers, just cant see it so far.
He done the one thing that frustrates me, hit a shot when the opportunity came up. I feel we get a lot of chances around the edge of the box to have a pop but players opt for that extra pass or touch and the chance is gone.
-
Pathetic that guys playing the same sport as a talented youngster are so bitter against him. Someone will seriously hurt him one day if this isn't dealt with. Referees need to let players know it wont be tolerated as we'll have all the kid on hard men of Scottish football 'out to get him'.
-
A few bad tackles is a bit different from 'trying' to break a leg - when Halliday got booked he was 'lucky' that his tackle did not connect - but that's part and parcel of the game - if we start shirking away from the physical side all that will do is encourage more physicality against us.
We're discussing 'dangerous' tackles not '50-50, hard, part of the game' challenges but i think you know that but as usual you're on here to wind up Rangers fans, there cant be any other reason for it.
-
They should have been 2 men down, the shocking ankle breaker tackle and the deliberate forearm smash on Oduwas neck. Had that been our players there would be an inquest this morning and bans.
-
That deserved a red, could've snapped his leg.

People have to accept the fact that opinions can change as circumstances change, it's a fact of life.
-
Durrant has been on the coaching staff since before McCoist even came back as assistant manager.
Didn't affect peoples opinions before.
He was just written off as a 'jobs furra boys, useless, hands in pocket, clown, wage thief, cunt', but Warburton must like his jokes, so it's fine now.
I dont know about peoples opinions back then, only what i've seen on here since i joined. All teams, at all levels are now playing the same way, maybe Durrant benefits from the structure in place. I imagine he has been given a chance to prove himself by the new board and management team and if he didn't he would be out the door. Someone must see something in him or he wouldn't be there.
-
The fact that no one, as yet, has addressed my point about Durrant is telling. What has changed there?
Plenty wanted him gone before, plenty said MW would get rid of 'McCoists mate, the clown with the hands in his pockets'. Yet he's still here, in charge of our U21's, and no one hates that anymore.
Maybe that's because people trust MW judgement. Durrant under McCoist could be a totally different coach under someone that actually knows what they are doing and gives a toss.
-
What does Davie Weir do mate? What's his role? Defensively we are very weak, no?
We do have a defensive weakness, yes. We have known since day one that the system we play will cause us to lose goals, and to be fair it's not many. If we put away more of the multitude of chances we get we wouldn't have to worry about losing the odd goal.
-
Ball has to be given a chance beside Kiernan after yesterdays showing. He's more solid than Wilson and can pick a pass. Wilson too often gives the ball away.
-
Anyone trying to compare AMcC to MW are deluded. Under Ally we were slow, unfit, couldn't hold a ball or control it, everyone back at corners and football was dire to watch. Players playing every week no matter how bad they were the previous game.
Enter MW and DW and within a few weeks the difference is already noticeable. AMcC did not have what it takes to be a manager, simple as.
-
McKay is frustrating when he has the chance to run at a defender bit opts to play it back into a crowded area. A much improved player this season though. A lot more to come from him.
-
Kiernan is good in the air and wins most balls. What's frustrating is when our player gets down the wing and has an opportunity to cross they seem to want/need an extra touch and then the opportunity is lost. Wilson got us into trouble a few times last night with his dilly dallying. Had too many off their game.
-
The guy that scored their second, it wasn't the first time he was stood all alone outside the box, shouldn't be allowed to happen.
