Give him a break. Was Bell's kicking spot on, no. Did Bell come for cross balls, no. Did Bell command his box, no. Granted he needs to work on his kicking but the other two he does well.
A keeper may take a little bit longer to settle than outfield players, esp if not used to having so much of the ball at his feet.

Not our best game by far but 3 points at the end of the day. Cummings should have been booked for intent for trying to cut Waghorn in 2. Waghorn done him superbly!!

Just love the guy

Brilliant stuff ?

So you were slavering shite.
Nothing takes away the fact that AM was a failure. Comparing him with SM is nonsense. How much time did SM have, did he have the luxury of bringing in his own players. No, he was left with a bunch of unfit players with confidence and morale at an all time low that had no sense of what they were meant to be doing on the park. Couldn't take corners, always hitting the first man. 11 back at corners against, then boot it to fuck, to nobody, as everyone is back defending. There was no fight in the team at all, none. All thanks to AM.
I wanted him to succeed just like any other bear, who wouldn't, and I still cant believe how horribly it went.

Brilliant start. Exciting times!

A total failure??? Everything football related - yes. However, during the time of admin, five way talks and galvanising the Rangers support (At that time ) then no - total failure is an overstatement.
Like one or two others - I just rather forget Ally and enjoy where we are now and where we are going. The analysis of mccoist's reign has been done to death.
Yes, agree, i was talking of the football side of things.
-
I thought it was we could bring a random off the street and things would instantly improve? It's amazing how the goal posts always move when this is shown to be shite.
I haven't moved any goalposts, i was being facetious when talking about a random. Stand by my other comments though.
-
A guy off the street could improve things apparently. Except tje two who tried actually made things worse. And yes. I am drawing a direct comparison. Both McCall and McDowall were worse than McCoist.
Given the same amount of time as McCoist and the opportunity to bring in players i'm sure McCall would have done a better job, he wouldn't have signed all the duds we had. McDowell isn't even in the equation, he should never have been given the job. McCoist was a total failure in every aspect of the managers role, he let the players and the fans down big time.
-
Cant wait for sunday, hope we give them a doing!!
-
They tried with two who couldn't.
McDowall is never a manager and knew he was out of his depth, and apparently he didn't want the position. McCall done what he could in a very short space of time with the mess of a team McCoist left him. A team devoid of any tactics, fitness and the belief sapped out them.
Are you really drawing comparisons?

Sir Alex is spot on with his opinion on Ally!
Ally was placing the foundations at this club for a brilliant team. Unfortunately the pressure was always going to be there with the boardroom stuff going on. Warburton and Weir are now benefitting from the work ally had laid in place
good one, that made me laugh!!
-
So SAF backs Ally and we're all supposed to change our opinion of him. SAF is entitled to his opinion, like everyone else, it does not make him right though does it.
Nothing will change will mind about AMcC the manager. Our team was destroyed under him.
-
Ally could only piss with cock that was given to him, he had a bad season in the Championship. Given what was going on around him, I think most managers would have struggled. Some on here might not like that, but that is the way I will remember this fiasco.
This is utter bollocks imo. The board could have picked a guy off the street, any guy, and he'd have done a better job than McCoist.
-
Those that say we should't get carried away as we have only faced part time opp in Alloa and St Mirren in the league so far so cant guage anything on that, here's a question for you, how did we do against part time and inferior opposition last season? Not so good eh!
The team is playing great football and scoring goals, something that we haven't seen for a long time, exciting to watch too. I'm not saying we're going to go through the season unbeaten but put any scottish team in front of us and we should be encouraged that we will be them, the defeatest attitude of the previous seasons should be in the past.
-
Utterly pathetic that anyone has a problem with this when we were 5-1 up. He was using skill to beat a player, isn't that part of the game of football?!
Ok the trick didn't come off 100% or he would have been away from the defender, but all the same Hamilton got done on tv and is acting like a child about it.

Football is a man's game. If wumen need to be entertained outside of the bedroom they should go the feckin' bingo.
A man's game! How often do you see a soft tackle and the 'man' going down as if being hit by a sniper then rolling about ten times just to add to the drama. A man's game indeed, lol!!
-
Yeah spotted that too, he was def thinking 'wow'. Hopefully Ibrox will be like that most if not all games this season.
-
Fair enough if people feel strongly enough not to want to give MA any money but it's cringworthy seeing these shirts at Ibrox. Why not save your money and put it into the club when MA doesn't have such a grip on retail. Its embarassing!
-
Will def be a sell out Imo.
-
We still need a few players, importantly a striker bit as to fearing anyone.....no we shouldn't.
-
Post above from SB1 is very heartwarming. A great night had by all by the sound of it ?
-
Gutted to be missing this. Will watch it in the wee small hours when I get home so hoping for loads of excitement and goals.

Finishing 3rd is better than 4th - and again , to repeat, 3rd is not what we expect but this thread has concentrated on out fitness levels - and again to repeat - our fitness levels are no where as bad as folk are trying to make out.
You've got to be at the wind up or your expectations of a Rangers team are ridiculously low.

Darren McGregor is ready to join hibs less than 24 hrs after leaving bitter title rivals Rangers......are they seriously calling us bitter?!
Making out we let him go as he was in talks and expected to sign for st Johnstone, but he sparked surprise at Ibrox when he began talks with boyhood heroes hibs.
