  1. Yes it is!

You seem to have some kind of personal vendetta against Super Ally!...there is no denying it, other bears can check your reps.

Mental ?.....trying on the old reverse psychology won't work with me I can assure you of that!

I do not rate the manager and I support the trust, they are my personal opinions. That explains my rep. I could post boring guff on watery subjects and ensure plenty of blue on my username, but that defeats the purpose of a discussion board.

I suspect you do not even believe your mental explanation for my username, so on this matter, I am prepared to forget. I am sure you have had a long day. Consider this matter closed my friend (tu).

  2. Could it be you're hoping for 5 titles stripped and it takes us maybe 5-6 years to win another while you win them tainted and its tiebreak?

    You're reps speak wonders!

Every neg rep you get is for anything against Super Ally

Every pos rep you deliver is for anyone else saying anything against Super Ally.... It's there for all to see!

Is that really your explanation for my username?! Your explanation is mental, although rather funny.

  3. Agree, and the very fact our club is still alive and kicking, despite these hateful bastards trying their best to close us down, is why I'd happily trade 2 or 3 cup defeats if it meant seeing a couple of these clubs going where they tried to send us.

That is beyond tragic. As long as we win, the rest is irrelevant.

  4. There's not a hope in hell they would sell out the paeado dome without us. A game between the SPL leaders and a 3rd Division team, midweek, on TV, with no Rangers fans tae bait? Nae chance will they sell that oot.

They would sell out their stadium no bother. I think they would fancy inflicting a heavy defeat. I certainly do not want to play them anywhere, it could be brutal.

I may be in danger of repeating myself here, but will people stop stressing the 'we are a division 3 team'. The 3rd division is where we play, that is all. In every aspect of Scottish Football we are still in the top two in the country.

  5. Sorry, but his actions during the takerover saga and beyond, and the fact that he is still pedaling this bullshit takes away every shred of credibility he ever had as a Rangers player.

He tried his fkn best to derail this takeover, and he wont be forgiven from me.

You mean derail a takeover that nobody knew a single thing about?

  6. On Saturday John "Bomber" Brown finally surfaced on the BBC radio show "Off The Ball" after a two month absence with the well-known Rangers haters Cowan & Cosgrove. Everything about this set alarm bells ringing for me; from the people who present the show to the broadcasting company who air it just represents very poor decision making from Brown.

Needless to say Brown once again embarrassed himself with his tiresome tirades against Charles Green, which again included the laughable claims that Craig Whyte still calls the shots.

The point I want to make here is just over 2 months ago I, and other members of Vanguard Bears, attended a meeting called by Brown on the promise that he would provide "bombshell" evidence regarding the ownership of Rangers, the Stadium and other assets. NO EVIDENCE was forthcoming on that day and over 2 months later there is still no evidence to back up his claims.

We were also told that day that Brown had deposited £40k in a bank account along with one other; and that more investors were doing likewise after the meeting. We've seen no evidence of this either nor have any of his other investors came forward. It would appear his takeover bid which was "only days away" hasn't come to fruition either.

My message to John Brown is that your reputation as a Rangers player has now been tarnished beyond repair, you've brought nothing but ridicule upon yourself with your ramblings so it's time you slunk away back to your current watering hole of choice and remain in the company of your Penn State F.C supporting mates.

Rangers have moved on and will one day reclaim our throne as the kings of Scottish football and you have no part to play, you were either with us or against us.

Any man who stood in a room full of loyal bears and declared his intention was to "buy the team" then play our games at Hampden in a move designed so that "Whyte" would have to sell us the stadium is clearly against us and an embarrassment to all the legendary Rangers men who went before him.

    Blue Tumai

He was a man trying to do the best for his club during a period of significant uncertainty. He was the only former player to emerge from the shadows and attempt to galvanise the support, and I will not forget that. Clearly he was out his depth, but I admire his willingness to get involved. His place in the history books is secure, as his achievements as a player will never be diminished or forgotten, despite the determination of certain folk to ridicule the man further.

  7. I'm guessing he probably did read it as it was printed off and placed in his hand

He is the first Chief Executive or Chairman to attend an RST meeting. A significant breakthrough for the organisation. I thank you for you email.

  8. Charles Green will be attending the Trusts AGM. Does Mr Green have a habit of attending meetings with organisations that are considered a 'busted flush?' I suspect the RST will also ask questions that do not focus on strip colours or flying the welsh flag.

This is a significant step forward for the RST.

  9. Read about Green talking about to fans in Northern Ireland. But he goes on to say season ticket holders and members of supporters group will only be able to buy shares?

Is this right or have i picked it up wrong. What if your not a season ticket holder but have been in the past, and your not part of any Rangers supporters groups does this mean you can't buy any?

Probably best to advise people in this situation to join the trust. Seems the logical thing to do.

  10. cant argue with any of that, but our fan base must be the hardest to please in the world, been at games when we've won by 5 or 6 and the guy beside me is unhappy because we've missed a sitter!

Some people cant be totally pleased and thats the way they are I just deal with it by ignoring it. We can all say this and that about tactics of formations but the truth is we actually dont have a clue or maybe we'd all be football managers!

The Rangers fan base is far from difficult to please. Our expectation levels are slipping dramatically, and yet those who highlight the glaring deficiencies in our team/management are criticised for demanding the very best. Mediocrity has unfortunately now become acceptable in the eyes of many. Cup exits to drivel are now continually excused by certain sections of our support because we 'can now concentrate on the league'. Utterly tragic. This 'small club mentality' is damaging our club and our aspirations.

I take it you do not watch football on the continent? If you want to see demanding supporters watch a game in Spain or Italy. The fans and owners of big clubs in these countries do not tolerate guff. As it should be.

  11. ARTUR BORUC insists being awarded SPL titles stripped from Rangers would mean NOTHING to him.

The ex-Celtic keeper could be due medals for 2008/09 and 2009/10 if the ongoing dual contract probe finds against the Ibrox club.

That would give him a perfect record of five SPL titles from five years at Parkhead — but the Pole insists it wouldn’t make up for the pain he felt at the time.

He told SunSport: “It wouldn’t really matter to me — if you win something you want to do it on the pitch.

“As a football player, you are judged on the pitch.

“We lost the leagues and that’s the end of it for me. I would have no interest in getting those medals now. I didn’t deserve them.”

Boruc was never far from Old Firm controversy during a colourful Parkhead career which ran from 2005 until 2010.

He had his share of ups and downs in the derby — but thrived in the spotlight and pressure of the fixture.

He believes Scottish football is a poorer place without the unique madness of the Old Firm games.

He said: “I am surprised at what’s happened with Rangers — it’s a big thing for the game in Scotland.

“Rangers won’t be in the SPL for a few years and Scottish football won’t be the same. Without the Old Firm games, it won’t be as exciting as it normally is.”

  12. It seems you are the one doing that since you accuse the RST of doing good things but can't come up with any substance to back it up.

Their efforts to undermine the various takeovers and support the other hopeless candidates are a disgrace, as are calls to starve the club of funds at it's most vulnerable time ever.

I could go on about all the other stuff the others have, but there is no need, the RST are already damned by the positions they took during the recent troubles.

It is little but a self-serving group, desperate for some kind of power at any cost. They have lost all credibility and will join Craig Whyte in the never to be trusted category.

Perhaps if they get rid of their current management totally and install a new management with some transparency, the fans will someday show them some forgiveness. If not they will fade away into the night.

I have highlighted numerous times the great work of the Trust. Feel free to have a look.

Here is the statement by the RST to its members regarding the season ticket issue:

There are a number of major issues facing the club and the support at present, not least of which is the decision on when, if at all, to renew season tickets. Given recent revelations over the failure of season ticket money to be ring-fenced as the Chief Executive Charles Green had indicated, we feel there is no other option open to the support than to delay payment until it is clear that proper corporate banking facilities are in place and supporters cash is protected from liquidators.

The RST board has serious concerns with regard to Charles Green's business model and his ability to take the club forward. It remains unclear whether he will be able to raise the £30m investment pledged at the outset of his bid and with continued speculation that the club has no corporate banking facilities our fears are only increasing. Therefore it is incumbent upon the Chief Executive and Chairman to allay these fears with guarantees and hard evidence of investment and secure the relevant banking facility required for a business the size of Rangers.

    http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/news-archive/4.html

During a period of significant uncertainty the RST asked its members to 'delay' purchasing season tickets. Totally understandable considering the silence from the Green consortium during this period. Lets not forget supporters could not purchase season tickets when this statement was issued. The statement was entirely justified, particularly when you consider that they did not use the word 'starve' just 'delay'. A considerable difference.

The highly respected and distinguished Alistair Johnston has been more than happy to use the Trust as a vehicle to issue his statements, which undoubtedly he would not do if the Trust has lost all 'credibility'. Clearly in the mind of our former Chairman, the RST are still fit for purpose.

The Trust have made numerous mistakes, including how they handled the takeover saga. Although it must be highlighted that Charles Green admitted that he knew in February that he would be the next owner of Rangers. Therefore, unless the Trust had a crystal ball, they were always going to back a losing bid.

  13. Without going into too much detail, as it's not my way to openly criticise others on an open forum, I'll just say that unpaid dinners (interest free loans|) was enough for me to be able to make up my own mind on whether they have done wrong or not. I'm sure the details of these incidents are well documented in the RST minutes, or should be.

Go have a look and, like me, make up your own mind.

But don't come on here accusing people of making accusations "with little substance" when in actual fact, they have.

Oh aye, and don't forget people were being charged a tenner to enter a pub at a European away match. Me? I just walked in as it was a pub open to anybody who wished to use it.

The tenner 'issue' has nothing to do with the Trust. If there had been wrongdoing by individuals within the organisation then I am sure the police would have been involved. They have not, so yes, you are making further accusations based on rumour, not fact.

  14. Do you sit in bed at night dreaming of Ally leaving? You are obsessed. It doesn't matter what people say or what Ally does you simply don't want him to manage our club.

Pretty sad. Well keep dreaming because no matter how much you belt out the same old boring phrases and try to influence others the vast majority of the support back Ally and find your obsession devisive. Ally is going nowhere until at least the end of the season, so shelf your deluded plans of finding a replacement. If and when the day comes we will contact you, afterall you have obsessed about it for so long that you are bound to have all the answers. :anguish:

There is absolutely nothing wrong in thinking your manager is not good enough. Clubs everywhere have fans who do not rate their manager. It is not a big deal. If Ally has us playing progressive attacking football, and winning trophies, then I will be a happy man.

  15. I've no doubt the RST started out with good people and good intentions. Unfortunately, they seem to have lost their way, and as the OP says, have no real reason to continue in their current guise.

It's a shame really that such an organisation lost it's way due to the egotism and greed of some who put their own agendas above those of our club.

The RST will remain, despite individuals like yourself constantly throwing accusations around with little substance.
