  1. I do not rate the manager and I support the trust, they are my personal opinions. That explains my rep. I could post boring guff on watery subjects and ensure plenty of blue on my username, but that defeats the purpose of a discussion board. I suspect you do not even believe your mental explanation for my username, so on this matter, I am prepared to forget. I am sure you have had a long day. Consider this matter closed my friend .
  2. Is that really your explanation for my username?! Your explanation is mental, although rather funny.
  3. That is beyond tragic. As long as we win, the rest is irrelevant.
  4. If its fine with you, I will address grounds, people and places by their proper name. I am looking forward to your explanation of my name. This could be good.
  5. No way, we cannot let our current side go to Celtic Park alone.
  6. Yes, that is wrong also. Our budget and our side are a million miles from division 3 standard. When everyone is fit only Celtic should beat us.
  7. They would sell out their stadium no bother. I think they would fancy inflicting a heavy defeat. I certainly do not want to play them anywhere, it could be brutal. I may be in danger of repeating myself here, but will people stop stressing the 'we are a division 3 team'. The 3rd division is where we play, that is all. In every aspect of Scottish Football we are still in the top two in the country.
  8. You mean derail a takeover that nobody knew a single thing about?
  9. He was a man trying to do the best for his club during a period of significant uncertainty. He was the only former player to emerge from the shadows and attempt to galvanise the support, and I will not forget that. Clearly he was out his depth, but I admire his willingness to get involved. His place in the history books is secure, as his achievements as a player will never be diminished or forgotten, despite the determination of certain folk to ridicule the man further.
  10. He is the first Chief Executive or Chairman to attend an RST meeting. A significant breakthrough for the organisation. I thank you for you email.
  11. Charles Green will be attending the Trusts AGM. Does Mr Green have a habit of attending meetings with organisations that are considered a 'busted flush?' I suspect the RST will also ask questions that do not focus on strip colours or flying the welsh flag. This is a significant step forward for the RST.
  12. Probably best to advise people in this situation to join the trust. Seems the logical thing to do.
  13. The Rangers fan base is far from difficult to please. Our expectation levels are slipping dramatically, and yet those who highlight the glaring deficiencies in our team/management are criticised for demanding the very best. Mediocrity has unfortunately now become acceptable in the eyes of many. Cup exits to drivel are now continually excused by certain sections of our support because we 'can now concentrate on the league'. Utterly tragic. This 'small club mentality' is damaging our club and our aspirations. I take it you do not watch football on the continent? If you want to see demanding supporters watch a game in Spain or Italy. The fans and owners of big clubs in these countries do not tolerate guff. As it should be.
  14. Did not see the game, so will not comment on the performance. Having checked out the side prior to kick off, I am just relived we are through. The tactics, formation and style of play are issues that still concern me, but not today. Job done.
  15. "Rangers star Sebastian Faure reckons Ally McCoist is like a father figure to the Ibrox kids'. That is nice to hear. Unfortunately though, most fathers are tactically inept.
  16. ARTUR BORUC insists being awarded SPL titles stripped from Rangers would mean NOTHING to him. The ex-Celtic keeper could be due medals for 2008/09 and 2009/10 if the ongoing dual contract probe finds against the Ibrox club. That would give him a perfect record of five SPL titles from five years at Parkhead — but the Pole insists it wouldn’t make up for the pain he felt at the time. He told SunSport: “It wouldn’t really matter to me — if you win something you want to do it on the pitch. “As a football player, you are judged on the pitch. “We lost the leagues and that’s the end of it for me. I would have no interest in getting those medals now. I didn’t deserve them.” Boruc was never far from Old Firm controversy during a colourful Parkhead career which ran from 2005 until 2010. He had his share of ups and downs in the derby — but thrived in the spotlight and pressure of the fixture. He believes Scottish football is a poorer place without the unique madness of the Old Firm games. He said: “I am surprised at what’s happened with Rangers — it’s a big thing for the game in Scotland. “Rangers won’t be in the SPL for a few years and Scottish football won’t be the same. Without the Old Firm games, it won’t be as exciting as it normally is.” Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/feeds/smartphone/scotland/4562727/I-dont-want-Gers-titles.html#ixzz27oNe5XvG
  17. I have highlighted numerous times the great work of the Trust. Feel free to have a look. Here is the statement by the RST to its members regarding the season ticket issue: There are a number of major issues facing the club and the support at present, not least of which is the decision on when, if at all, to renew season tickets. Given recent revelations over the failure of season ticket money to be ring-fenced as the Chief Executive Charles Green had indicated, we feel there is no other option open to the support than to delay payment until it is clear that proper corporate banking facilities are in place and supporters cash is protected from liquidators. The RST board has serious concerns with regard to Charles Green's business model and his ability to take the club forward. It remains unclear whether he will be able to raise the £30m investment pledged at the outset of his bid and with continued speculation that the club has no corporate banking facilities our fears are only increasing. Therefore it is incumbent upon the Chief Executive and Chairman to allay these fears with guarantees and hard evidence of investment and secure the relevant banking facility required for a business the size of Rangers. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/news-archive/4.html During a period of significant uncertainty the RST asked its members to 'delay' purchasing season tickets. Totally understandable considering the silence from the Green consortium during this period. Lets not forget supporters could not purchase season tickets when this statement was issued. The statement was entirely justified, particularly when you consider that they did not use the word 'starve' just 'delay'. A considerable difference. The highly respected and distinguished Alistair Johnston has been more than happy to use the Trust as a vehicle to issue his statements, which undoubtedly he would not do if the Trust has lost all 'credibility'. Clearly in the mind of our former Chairman, the RST are still fit for purpose. The Trust have made numerous mistakes, including how they handled the takeover saga. Although it must be highlighted that Charles Green admitted that he knew in February that he would be the next owner of Rangers. Therefore, unless the Trust had a crystal ball, they were always going to back a losing bid.
  18. I read about that on here when I joined in yet another RST bashing thread. Lets just say after making numerous inquiries I have decided to disregard his comments. I will not go further.
  19. The tenner 'issue' has nothing to do with the Trust. If there had been wrongdoing by individuals within the organisation then I am sure the police would have been involved. They have not, so yes, you are making further accusations based on rumour, not fact.
  20. There is absolutely nothing wrong in thinking your manager is not good enough. Clubs everywhere have fans who do not rate their manager. It is not a big deal. If Ally has us playing progressive attacking football, and winning trophies, then I will be a happy man.
  21. The RST will remain, despite individuals like yourself constantly throwing accusations around with little substance.
