  1. I'm on my mobile, so I can't quote for some reason. No, I refused to remove it and I was deployed to around the outside of their stadium. Celtic's in-house security made it clear that no staff from any company were to wear them. The day before it, some of our boys drove out to Airdrie's ground for a shift and they were made wear poppies by Airdrie United. Under strict instructions to ensure that ALL staff wore them. Big respect to Airdrie. Much more classy than Celtic FC could ever be.
  2. Thanks people. Yeah, I understand the timing is a bit strange, but I was speaking to McMurdo and more recently Leggo about it but nothing came to fruition. It was a chat about it with Chris Graham that got me thinking: "Fuck it." And yes, I found employment shortly afterwards. I was a student at the time, so I wasn't bothered about the job. I was only bothered about the manner I was sacked in.
  3. My latest blog: CELTIC'S POPPY SHAME via @WordPress: http://williamcahill1991.wordpress.com/ Give it a read please, Bears. Some feedback would be much appreciated too. Cheers.
  4. I think most Rangers fans agree that the team is in dire need of good, solid defenders. As Goian and Bocanegra will be most probably moved on, who would you like to see us sign?
  5. The asterisks indicate that the player is under 23 and the club he is departing would possiby be entilted to a compensation fee. It's from an article by Grant Russell on the STV website.
  6. Who should send packing? I've listed my choices below, and my reasons why. Kyle Hutton Kal Naismith Darren Cole Ross Perry These 4 need to be shown the door pronto. Their whole attitude to training and game preperation just stinks and is totally unprofessional. Also, their Twitter outbursts and silly antics leave much to be desired for. Emilson Cribari A total waste of money and could be better spent elsewhere. I mean, how the fuck did this guy cost Lazio a transfer fee of £5 million and play in the Champions League? That must be the biggest scandal in Italian football. Ian Black Like Cribari, just a complete waste of money. We could get a player much better for half the wage in the same position. Constantly getting into scraps with opposing players and being booked/sent off too much. A complete shadow of the player he was at Hearts. Carlos Bocanegra Dorin Goian As much as I'd love to see Captain America back with us, I think he values his international career too much (and rightfully so). Plus, both players' wages are too high for our level. Anything over £10,000 p/w in SFL2 is frightening. Neil Alexander One who stuck by us in the dark days. His act of loyalty will never be forgotten. But I think that he will be off come the new season. He won't be offered a new deal now. We've signed Cammy Bell on a good contract and Alexander is quoted on currently being paid £11,000 p/w. Another massive wage for our level that the board will surely want off the bill. Good luck to guy, wherever he ends up.
  7. Right guys, thoughts on Nacho Novo. What did you think of him in his Rangers days? Also, how comfortable would you be for him to return? I rated him at Ibrox. He was good when he was played as a striker, but he was wasted when Walter played him wide-right. Although, he's 34/35 now and well past his sell-by. Well past his best days too. I can understand the novelty and sentiment behind a potential return, but we don't need another aging player who'll be on a moderatly high wage.
  8. Ironic how Broadfoot ended up at Blackpool too then, eh? Haha. Is he still there? Was he getting a game at all? Lol.
  9. I was in attendance when Rangers last played Liverpool (October 2011) and heard Rangers fans singing "There's only one Charlie Adam..." Fucking mental given that he was slated by a lot of fans when he actually played for us. Haha.
  10. I was in attendance when Rangers last played Liverpool (October 2011) and heard Rangers fans singing "There's only one Charlie Adam..." Fucking mental given that he was slated by a lot of fans when he actually played for us. Haha.
  11. FYI, I don't know if the link is a fake or not. I just saw it on Twitter and thought I'd share it.
  12. Like I said before, for being played out of position a lot, He done reasonably well. I'll never forget the time he heard fat Boruc telling his wall to jump and wee Charlie going right underneath them to score that free kick.
  13. What did you guys think of Charlie Adam as a player during his Rangers days? I thought he put a shift in, chipped in with a fair amount of goals and played reasonably well for a player being played out of position. An extract about Charlie Adam in Craig Bellamy's autobiography: http://pic.twitter.com/iTzX8QhgYl - Quite funny, to be honest.
  14. Think what you like. We're all entiled to our own opinion. But not all of us are trying to ram them down the throats of fellow Bears.
  15. Him conning Whyte is not a problem. The way we were lied to about it and how we found out was the problem.
  16. To the guy who asked if I'm a member of any Rangers-related association: No. I am not. I think being tied down as a member of a club/organisation/association kills off any neutral stance.
  17. He was already in control. He fucked him over and that was that. All most Rangers fans were asking for was a bit more honesty.
  18. Yeah, I don't disagree with businessmen coming in and making a tidy profit. What I do disagree with is the lies and deceit that came along with Green and Ahmed.
  19. I made this thread to try and have a discussion. No one is asking you to comment on it or read it. And, what else did Green lie about? How about the relationship he had with Craig Whyte? The same relationship he solemnly denied (and lied about) during one of his first press conferences at rangers.
  20. It is all a bit pathetic. Why butcher each other when there is a pack of rabid Rangers-haters in our mainstream media? Imran Ahmed was brought up. Bill seemed to be on his side about the cost-cutting, etc. But Chris retorted that he couldn't have been very concerned with cost-cutting when he received his large pay-off. Something I agree with 100%. All they wanted to do was line their own pockets. Mind you, Green worked hard for his cash. But that's still no excuse for totally misleading and lying to us all.
  21. @ Gogzy - I can't quote you, mate. This BlackBerry is a heap of shit. Haha. But yeah, it all started with McMurdo posting a link to his blog, which if you read it, you'd see that it looked like that Bill believed that Green and Ahmed were all for Rangers becoming a sustainable business, good guys, in it for the long haul, etc etc. Which is one load of dung. Green and Ahmed were in it to make money. All they wanted to do was line their own pockets. Chris shares this view, but it appears that you just can not disagree with Bill. After this, Bill accuses Chris of having his blogs ghost written, etc. A bit of a mad one, but I'm certainly on the side of Chris Graham. It looks like Bill is losing friends by the day. Leggo, RM, Chris Graham...
  22. Yeah, will do that with the screengrabs later. I'm on my mobile and the service is pretty shit. Sorry for the lack of info at the present moment, Bears. I thought a lot of people would've saw this...
  23. If anyone reading this uses Twitter, then earlier today you'll have probably read the ongoing argument between McMurdo and Chris Graham. I too (@LoyalWilliam), actually played a wee part in this. The disagreement was over Bill's blog today (http://t.co/ZK9J3E70iu). Thoughts please, Bears and Bearettes.
  24. We've recently saw the fall-out between two very well respected Rangers bloggers. Who do you prefer? On the basis of consistency, trustworthy stories/leads, personality, etc...
