  1. Reply from RangersTv to my enquiry regarding status of broadcasting live games:

    :( :( :( :(

    Hi,

Right now, we're still waiting for confirmation of what Rights we have for rest of the season. And we don't, even at this late stage, know whether we'll be showing Tuesday's match live.

Keep checking the site for updates.

Dunno what to think - it's atleast slightly optimistic that they are still in discussions regarding the rights. Looks as though they are still trying to push it through.

I'd prefer if Tuesday's game wasn't broadcasted live - hopefully encourage more punters to get down to Ibrox and pack the stands for the first game back

  2. Does anyone know who the owner of the rangers app is? As on my Iphone it hasn't been updated since 01/08/2012 but there hasn't been any major news since then so I imagine that's normal. Even if I try to look over old news articles it states that this ''URL can't be found''. Do you think I need to download the app again with the recent update of the Rangers website? As it takes stories straight from there. Or just wait it out...

    Anyone else having this issue?

Sat for ages trying to come up with a first topic post and this is the best I've got

    Cheers in advance

  3. It takes all kinds of different skills/abilities to forge a good team, and Edu fits the bill with how the USA want to play and the players he has around him.

I watched Bedoya several times before he joined us and he's not as bad a footballer as some would say, and I think he would have been an asset to us with more games under his belt, but we will never know now, so best of luck to them all and thanks for your effort lads :pipe:

I agree, He came in after half a season in Sweden and wanted to prove himself. The odd game he did start I felt he was trying too hard and things just weren't coming off for him. Thought he could have been a dynamic midfielder for us though. Disapointed not to see more of him and I think he picked up a few knocks in succession which kept him out the team.

    Hope they all do well.

  4. I'd have much preferred to lose Goian, (which me still might do) but it's not a surprise we would lose Bocanegra ,Edu and Bedoya due to their USA ambitions. Best of luck to them all.

Personally, I think his ambitions should be just to get a game... for ANY club..

But i know what you're saying and agree totally (tu) Think Bedoya hasn't been giving the game time and looks a better ''footballer'' than Mo but not as good a athlete.

Wish them all the best. Especially Boca

  5. Can't argue with the OP's choices. Depends where McCulloch plays as I, like the GK position, dont like a Striker to be captain. Ideally a midfielder or Centre Half and McCulloch can fill both roles.

Personally, I'd think about giving it to a Hutton type and hope he flourishes. He looks a steady midfielder who can put the boot in. Havent seen enough of him to be sure if he's captain material though. Good time to bleed the younger talent and turn them from Rangers boys to Rangers men :21:

  6. Sadly, it was expected. Especially with Boca as the guy is a cracking defender and captain of America. He'd be foolish to stick around. I'm sure he loved it here though, must of been hard for him to leave if it's true. No nonsense centre half with the admiration of every single fan...:lol:

    Wish them all the best

  7. Always the 'equal opportunity' lot show up. Can't we just deal with one at a time? I'm pretty sure Ally would have played a part, however small, in persuading those players to stay and he obviously had a major role in signing the new players too so for the purposes of a tribute it's entirely fitting to start at the top with Super.

That's true. For the last few months he has been the eyes, ears and face of the club.... the poor guy probably chipped in with some cleaning too

I think he deserves so much admiration from every bear out there and I'm up for chanting his name whether it be the 9th or the 90th minute :21:

  8. No-one can fault his commitment anyway that's for sure,I hope Boca's still here but I can't see it,just depends whether this rumour of us being back in the top league next year is true or not.

Yeah, something must be in the pipeline for us to be buying the quality of boys we have. Either way, if it happens or not I'm just glad to be back at Ibrox cheering on the boys... Starting with East Fife on Tuesday. I know Gordon and Scott Durie as they're from the same place as me so i'll be hoping we pump them by only the 4 or 5

Does that count as a name drop?

  9. after the fighting involving the Dynamo Moscow fans at Tannadice tonight, the SFA have decided to fine Rangers £90,000

Fuck me, just the 90 grand? I'd take that right now. The beaks at the SFA must be having a day off from operation: ruin Rangers :craphead:

  10. Aye I'll end up there every second week if he handles one game!

No comment about Kirky apart from at least he was loyal :D

I agree mate, upmost respect for the big man. Took some pelters both fair and unfair but he's here now when it matters and when others have jumped ship :wanker:

Just hope he gets given some time at CB as the boy isn't a right back. But he's a trier and I've yet to see him not give 100%. Just can't see him getting infront of Boca and Goian... if they're still here ofcourse. fingers crossed they stay

  11.

He's Rangers daft already but I'd need to dehydrate him as one fruit shoot and he pisses more than me on the bevvy!

Usually in bed for 8pm so will be a tough one for him hence why I might leave it for a Saturday, really excited for Tuesday though.

Aye, understandable mate. Be good to get the wee man along for his first game though. After my first game I HAD to go back every week  you get hooked.

Doubt he'll sleep much anyway, he'll be too busy watching King Kirk dance down the wing. Wish we'd play that poor bugger at centre hawf (tu)

  12. I love Rangers because it is what it is. I've been lucky enough to be born into a Rangers family and I expect that tradition to carry on with my kids.

No other club could even come close to recreating the drama and love I have for Rangers... fucking soppy reading it back

Plus Bogtrotters is a bear... I'd be foolish not to love Rangers for those pics  .... Should of signed up when those PM's were flying about  ... although it was quicker just to wap some porn on... bloody royal mail :craphead:

  13. Dunno what to think about this signing, checked with my usual FM scouts and youtube videos and it all evidence points towards a decent and shrewd signing ( providing he's not asking for too big a wage )

Depends how he settles in to life in Division 3.. tricky small parks with little time on the ball. Boy's a player, you don't get to play top flight with AEK etc if you don't have something. Happy to get him in for a trial, and if he proves to be a better option than a few of the younger boys, then play him, but I'd rather see Hutton in there given time to develop. This is the time where we could change our approach to the game and nurture younger talent more than previously.

Totally surprised that we would be even going for boys of this type of calibre though..I'm just over the moon to get wired into the transfer forum again :21:
