Do we still need to sell him if the £6.5m investment offer gets accepted. Punt Law and several others by all means. We should be keeping Lewis and building a team around him, not getting rid of him to the first team that comes asking. Douglas Park and the other two should say that Lewis has to stay as part of the deal.

Unless the board take this offer of 6.5 million and give the 2 chairs on the board. Evryone worth anything or eventually offered something for will be sold. Your right mate ashley already has what he wanted he has the rights to our merchandise he gives us peanuts for every top sold, he will let someone else come in now and spend money and he can sit back and take money from shirt sales.i just hope his merchandise deal dosent put off potential investors cause lets face it our shirt sales gave a bit of money to the club but not now,ashley will drip feed the club in the meantime to protect his deal but anything he puts in will have to be paid back as it will all be loans.but how do we pay it back when he has one of our main incomes tied up.

...................................................If Law went and we got Vuckic in on loan as a replacement then I'd be happy enough with that. I'm not sure i can see it happening though. We can't cover wages of a loan fee and I doubt Ashley would give him to us with Newcastle covering all costs.
Even if Law leaves along with MacLeod and we have to work with what we had we could still potentially line up with Gallagher Shiels Templeton as a front three behind a lone striker with McKay in reserve and I'm not sure that would be any weaker or more inconsistent than a typical line up is now.
I would like to see Templeton stay I think he has more to offer, but I think some club might just try a sneaky wee bid to tempt rangers.mckay is another who should be here but I dont see us bringing him back either.
