The problem is, he is still going to try raise the £30m, and he also said if the fans dont pull for it, he has investors who will step in. Time will tell i suppose, i just wonder what will happen if this mystery 30 million ever does materialise. The point im trying to make is what he says is mostly populist shite to get the fans onside. None of it ever comes true. If a team that sells almost 40k in books can only afford to buy one player at under a million, for the next year or so, then something is amiss.

We are light years from CL football, not 3/4 years. The public flotation is what im worried about. If we are all happy to accept our squad is strong enough, why the need for the share issue next month? Do we need it to survive the next 3 years? Will we stick it in an account until we need it? Or, is it going somewhere else? Up to now , i see no reason to trust this regime with another £30m of our hard earned, and hope he does the right thing. Investors want heir dough back, double as far as im aware, and im not sure they are prepared to wait until we are next in the CL group stages. The fact that our team will need heavy investment before we can even think about it is another worry. From a business point of view, what would you rather do? Run off with the share issue booty, or sit and wait 5/6 years and hope we qualify for the CL group stages a couple of years on the bounce?
