I hope you understand the fact that if this chorus is to return to the terraces once again much damage will be done to the club we've had to defend so vigorously over the past year and a half, by the airheads who cannot and will not resist the urge to revert back to the original lyrics; I wouldn't bet against them being the same people lobbying to get this song back at Ibrox right now.
If you want to make a weakened club much more vulnerable then you hold that right, but I'm sure the relevant authorities and Charles Green himself is aware that if you give this element of the support enough rope they'll hang all of us. I only wish Charles Green isn't tempted by a vocal 'Liaison Committee' into making a possibly fatal decision in joining this movement and requesting the deceased chant to return.
If you think our enemies were feasting on our flesh before then wait until you hand them this present.
You're way out of order there pal though I won't hold my breath waiting on an apology. I'd love to sit here and debate the pros and cons of re-introducing TBB with you but I've got a match to go to.

As there were six respondents to the nomination, and the committee was originally intended to be five people, I have asked the six nominees if they want to forgo the vote and just form a six person committee to expedite the process.
I will keep you posted.

Just a quick update I am about to contact all parties nominated, turns out compiling the list of nominees from a 15 page thread took longer than I thought it would.

I would also propose that as unofficial chair, and due to the fact that (to my knowledge) nobody has voiced any concern with that, that ViniH should be exempted from the voting, and automatically installed as official chair.
I second this proposal.

We nominate our choice of fellow RM members who we think should form the committee.
We then vote on those nominations to form a committee of, say, 5 members.
The committee members then put together a strategy document and allocate tasks which will include:
Presenting our proposals to the club
Taking legal advice
Contacting, and consulting with, UEFA
Consulting with all supporters groups
If we get the go ahead the committee then have to organise the implementation of the new wording by:
Again, consulting with all supporters groups
Organising stadium announcements
Organising leaflet printing and distribution (and raising the funds required)

I'll start the ball rolling by nominating ViniH (as he started the thread) and govanblue (as he's been doing a great job organising the RM sponsorship project)

Doesn't need to be that complicated.Poll on other threads backs change from Fenian to rebel so let's go with that
A couple of hundred of us on here agreeing to the word change is all well and good but making sure that all 50,000 fans at Ibrox are up to speed with what we're proposing is going to take a fair bit of organising. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
