  1. It would drive they bastards mental just one word change let's do it bears and police it ourselves.

(tu) Yep, fully agree, but we have to have the legal position clarified first (anyone got Donald Findlay's phone number?) and get the full backing of the club. The eastenders ain't too bright but they are tenacious, so it's imperative that we do this properly. Under no circumstances do I want to see any further damage done to our great club, especially if it's self inflicted. I suggest that we form a committee to take this forward as quickly as possible so that we can belt out TBB without fear of repercussions for the club or supporters. :pipe:

  2. Perry - I don't have a problem with. Has good potential and will come on through the next year or two. By SFL1, we should have a good judgement prepared.

Sandaza - Up there in the "Worst strikers we've ever had" club. I don't know what it is, I just don't rate him and never have. He has a lot of work to do to change my opinion. Should have done better with the chance he had yesterday, a simple placed under the keeper shot would have done the job.

Hutton - Meh, performances are up and down like a yo-yo. Some games he's good and looks a player, some games he drifts in and out effortlessly doing nothing wrong and some games, like yesterday, I wonder what talent he actually has. I liked him before and wanted to see him play more but now I'm not sure.

Black - Christ, loved when he came to the Club. Thought he had a bit of wee Barry about him. Could exert himself and control the game but in his first 5 months at the Club I think we've only seen glimpses of what he can do. I don't remember him getting anywhere the treatment in the SPL he does in SFL3. Very little protection from referees, kicked all over the park by players, studded full force into the midriff. At times you think "C'moan Ian, do something with it!!" and at brief moments I've thought "That's better Ian, more like what you can do!" but then he's swiped out the game, snapped, and then drifts out the game again. I seem to remember one game where he was played more forward than sitting and he played very well, but it was one game only sadly. Over time I think he'll improve like was the story at the SFL3 Feeder Club.

Aird - Only 17 fuck sake. The mentality that has been the problem with our support for a while. Only a world class superstar has the ability to play like a 27 year old at 17 years of age. Even McKay, despite his glowing performances throughout the month, showed signs of his tender age yesterday. All this will come in time and with wingers like Templeton and McKay, Airdy will only improve learning with and from these two.

Hegarty - Has impressed me before hand but yesterday he was slack. Felt at CB he looked comfortable and because he's young, he maybe settled into that position before being shifted to RB yesterday.

Not a dig at Swally.. just sharing my opinion on the above mentioned players for what it's worth.

As opinions go, I can't really fault it. A spot-on assessment.

  3. Maybe they should arrest the members of our armed forces who play drums while on horseback. Police horses are trained to deal with crowd situations so banging a drum near them should not cause an issue. If it does I suggest that the training of the horses is substandard (much like the training of some of the police officers).

I'd just clicked on 'Like This' when it occurred to me that as a result I'll probably get lifted at the Clyde game. If Glasgow's finest charge mob handed in to CR3 to arrest me will my fellow fans please intervene?

On a more serious note: Several years ago I was exiting the Broomloan stand along with my 70+ year old father after a match against the sheep shaggers when we were confronted by a large squad of Aberdeen casuals demanding a fight. A single policeman was right in front of us, between the two sets of fans. Rather than try to diffuse the situation (or call for assistance) the bastard turned and started to walk back towards the stand. I grabbed him by the sleeve and said 'where the fuck are you going? - the action's that way'. He immediately said 'you're nicked' and started dragging me away. I've no idea what happened next other than there was an almighty scuffle and I could feel myself being pulled in all directions. In a matter of seconds calm was restored and my father and I were being whisked through the crowd by a group of fans. I owe those guys big time - Rangers fans helping other Rangers fans - the way it should be!

Just a thought regarding the UB's proposed silent protest. Why not take your seats 10 minutes into the game, giving the rest of the crowd the chance to applaud you as you do so.

No surrender. Not then, not now, not ever!

  4. Just to let you all know I've got my seaon ticket back. As you would expect Mr Martin wasn't very sympathetic to the situation and would not put any blame on the stewards and basically said was my fault. So I informed him every time a steward came in to the are and was heavy handed in any way I will be video it and taking statements from people around me

    Excellent news!

  5. Your wish is my command.

I could give you the studio version, but why not have this amazing live version instead. Sound quality is poor, but boy what a show.

And since I always like to over-deliver, here's one of my many many many personal favourites...

Both excellent, though I'm not sure that the girl downstairs agrees :D
