  1. Aye sarcasm is always the way.

I'm not talking about fans who have a different point of view - there's many of them I'd happily debate with over a drink or two. I'm talking about one of the main antagonists who's actively trying to destabilise and damage the club. Not worthy of the title "Rangers supporter" and should be as welcome at NARSA as mad Phil.

Lighten up Beast. I am going to Toronto to have a great time and meet fellow bears from all over the world. You don't like Chris Graham and thats fine by me and if you don't want to have a beer with him thats fine also. Like I said previously, if I meet him I will have a chat with him over a beer about his spats with my good friend Ed. Their tet a tet on here last year was the stuff made of legend. Incidentally I spoke with Ed this morning and he is in the recovery mode after a period of illness. He is sorely missed on this site in my opinion. And Beast , I believe NARSA is being held in Redondo Beach LA next year, why not come along and you can buy me a beer and we can continue this chat over there. WATP
  2. I can't imagine having a beer with Chris Graham, I'd want to go for a bath in Dettol if I Was even in the same room as him.

Watch out if you have a bath with Dettol Beast, especially if you have any wee cuts on your skin.It can get a bit nippy to say the least or so I'm told.. Any way thanks for sharing that with me, I will try hard to suss out all the bears who don't share the same views as me and avoid them like the plague.
  3. Oh Edminston Drive he had some great debates on here I wondered what happened to him. Well I hope you have a wonderful time or should I say, you will have a fantastic time because the company will be exceptional lol see you soon. Xx

Well thats right Trixi, you never know who you will meet and I am reassured that the company will be exceptional ,especially those who hail from Plantation and Kinning Park.LOL!!!
  4. So much to do already, Convention night, sash bash, disco, football match that Amo and Alan Armour are playing in, cruise, barbecue at Bramalea RSC, CN Tower, Niagra falls and going to a gig at the legendary Horsehoe Tavern and some clubbing ,not to mention gubbing my good friend Davy Currie at Tennis if he dares to take me on.And thats just the first three days................Cant wait.

  5. I'm told Scottish media poodles Chris Graham and Shane Nicholson will both be at NARSA this year as guests of a local Bear.

I would very much hope the assembled Bears, including RMers, will let these two gentlemen know exactly what you think of their efforts to harm the club's financial well-being by cosying up to BBC Scotland and the Daily Record.

Not into all that mate, its about enjoying yourself with Rangers supporters from all over who have different opinions on how things should be done. Any way I want to chat to Chris Graham over a beer about his spat with my good friend Edmiston Drive on BD last year.It was great stuff.
  6. Hope you have a great time Linny. It would be great if the GPB could commemorate the Battle of Ridgeway, where the Young Canadian volunteers fought the Fenians. It would be a nice touch if the band played The Maple Leaf Forever, written by battle veteran and Orangeman Alexander Muir.

I will ask for a request Gary. Get saving for Redondo Beach next year.

  7. Can't wait to go and if it is half as good as San Francisco last year then it will still be special. Marching behind GPB on the Golden Gate Bridge was one of many highlights but it is the camaraderie between the Rangers fans who come from all over the world to attend that makes the convention really special. I heard big Amo may be coming and some of the current squad. A visit to Niagara Falls will be a must and I wonder if there will be a musical event taking place similar to the Golden Gate Bridge. I certainly hope so.

  8. Don't know about fans being in a movie, but either 70 or 71 we played spurs at white hart lane and I was there at piccadilly circus and traf square hours before going to the game.

I was at the Spurs game that ear and I think we got spanked 3-0. I vividly remember the Spurs end being filled with skinheads and them all bouncing and singing Knees Up Mothers Brown.Cant remember anything about a film though.
  9. United were there for the taking today, they froze in the first half but unfortunately schoolboy defending and schoolboy finishing got us what we deserved. Ally had them fired up today in the way that we were against Celtic in our last home game against them but Im afraid today showed how poor are signings really are against moderate opposition. Sadly Ally needs to go and I really do feel for him but like John Greig he simply is not good enough.

  10. It was no surprise to me how badly we played.Thats a consistent level of performance under Ally and it hurts me to see how badly our team are playing under him. He does not inspire and he does look out of his depth as a football manager. Aird was absolutely shocking today (like many others)and did not look like a footballer to me, yet Ally kept him on for the full 120 minutes .He brought on young Gallagher with 10 minutes to go when he should have been on much earlier given his promising debut a few weeks back. There are so many problem areas in our team and its not going to get better next season with Ally at the helm. Im not sure if it would be of benefit for Rangers in the longer term if we managed to beat Dundee Utd next week although it does look like we will get a pasting after that dismal performance.

  11. Whee is the football threads theses days - or even the connection to Rangers ( other than tenuous) - perhaps admin need to start a sub forum for all theses religious / society ills discussions that are popping up in the BD ?

Immature reply to a very good post.Rangers as a club and its supporters are affected by this piece of sectarian legislation and we are made out to be the villains of the piece time after time.It would seem that there is an agenda against our support in the main and the more it is highlighted the more aware our fans will become and be able to debate with an informed view with our enemies from the east end.

Perhaps you need a pair of specs given the amount of football threads that are in BD this morning.I hear specsavers are doing a buy one get one free deal this week.

  12. I would prefer to have a massive red, white and blue party with 60,000 bears in attendance at CP.I was lucky enough to have been at Parkhead when we completed the treble and if memory serves me right it was the last competitive match before the jungle was pulled down. They wern't happy about that then and they wont be happy about us coming again and taking over their midden. I am definitely all for it!!!

  13. You have to have an appreciation of the way the smoke lingers in the air and the wonderful aroma and colour that prevails from it. It all adds to the wonderful atmosphere at football games and the bluer the smoke the more intoxicating it is for me. Only smoke bomb enthusiasts will understand what I am getting at here. Well, unless you are a brain surgeon or rocket scientist of course.I think they might understand what I am talking about , These guys are really clever and know lots more than me about smoke bombs and your not trying to tell me the polis will lift a rocket scientist or brain surgeon just because they let off smoke bombs at a Rangers game. Anyone on here who thinks otherwise hasn't got a clue in my opinion. It just isn't going to happen so just live with it and get on with your life, and keep following the Rangers and you will be fine,I think.
